Having read the reviews it was with a bit of nervousness that we chose to eat here. But it was right next door to our hotel and after a 12 hour day at the office we were looking for a quick dinner before heading off to bed. But it turned out that we didn't have to worry. My Indian colleague... More

Vegetarian Indian was fair. They make a good effort. A place to go if you haven't had Indian food for a while... Vegetables were more Chinese, a lot of oil, spices Indian.

This is a family run restaurant just off Sveavagen claiming to serve authentic Indian food. The Bangaldeshi family which runs this place has their hands full during lunch hours when it is reasonably full and hence service is quite slow. The menu is full of typos. Decor-wise, you will find several Bollywood stars looking at you from the posters on... More

We ate here as it was raining and the restaurant was next to our accommodation. My food was tasty but it's quite hard to spoil a tandoori mixed grill. The lamb hunks were too tough really but the rest was fine and well cooked. The food was plentiful and the staff were friendly. It is quite expensive for what is... More

And the food was quite expensiv and nothing that I would recommend to anyone I know..SO NO! Deal breaker.. food that doesn't taste that good.. is nothing you want to... More

I have no doubt that Mandira is a good choice for lunch. In the evening it's barely okay. The food is quite good at a reasonable price. However the service towards the customers is distinctly sub-standard. The waiter takes the order and delivers the food to the table and nothing more. Never a smile, short and abrupt answers to any... The very first time I had been to this place and it was close to 8.30 and the Restaurant was scheduled to close by 9. So they forced us to order everything on one go. While serving also the person who was serving was rude and forgot few dishes. We had to remind him to get it. It was not... More

Not a place to go to for a romantic dinner. As always in Stockholm, the best Indian restaurants are not so fancy, but concentrate on good food and moderate prices. Good service, good food, cheap beer.
