I love this garden and cafe. I've added this to my must visit list every time I'm in Stockholm. The cafe is in a greenhouse setup with a bookstore/gift shop next door. Every day they have a few hot specials that you order from the...counter and a buffet table of desserts and open face sandwiches that you choose and pay at the counter. My favorite is the soup of the day which comes with their fresh bread and butter. i think any entree comes with their bread and butter. If you want something to go, you can ask for a to go box. Favorite things are their cakes. Very dense but they don't feel heavy or overly sweet. You can take the tram to the end of the line and walk to the garden. Easiest way even in winter.More

I was there after a walk through Djurgården. Very lovely Café. Friendly personal and very delicious cardamon buns.

Visited in early August and it was a bright sunny day and with lots of folks enjoying the weather and eating and having a good time. Great location with all the green house flowers and the orchard, great ambience. The Soup and bread were just...what we needed after a morning wandering around the island and some museums. You go in and pick up some items on the way to the counter to place your order for soup or wine. The house red wine was OK. We split an open faced sandwich and a sweet roll.More

My sister recently moved to Stockholm and she was really excited to take me here. I could see why! This place is so lovely, set in a park with a beautiful garden, it reminded me a lot of Wave Hill (for those who know this...gem in uptown NYC). The food is cafeteria style, but far from cafe grade food. It was ridiculously delicious. I had the tomato soup followed by an apple pie. Both were scrumptious with a real homemade feel. Busy, bustling place with a lovely ambiance. This was the absolute highlight of my trip. Highly recommended, this place is special.More

This restaurant made us come to the Djugarden island which is very nice, without (or nearly without) cars. An hour walk to access this snack/self restaurant, rather alternative and disappointing (do not come for the food !)

What a fab place. My wife is a vegan and loves eating fresh, simple food. This place didn’t disappoint. The self-service food was fresh and tasted great, but the real winner was the setting. We took our tray to a small table in a courtyard...area of the gardens, within a small shabby-chic plant nursery, and sat in the sun surrounded by nature, and yet we were only a 20 minute walk from the centre of Stockholm. Perfection!More

I actually went there in the afternoon, so I only had some patries and a rhubarb-lemonade. But what a nice place ! It is a self-service surround by greenhouses and vegetable gardens. Sitting there at a table, looking at the trees and the lawn really...feels like eating in paradise. They say that the food is mostly prepared with things that have been grown locally (which I can only believe). In any case, it is delicious. The only negative point : quite a large part of the tables are not in the shadow. So if you go there on a hot summer-day, you will have to wait a bit or to be lucky to get a place in the shadow.More

My son is a genius. We got him to plan our Stockholm visit and he curated an amazing itinerary. There are two kinds of places in the world when I visit I just feel like curling up and staying there until I die: libraries and...nurseries. My son suggested a visit here for a late lunch. Oh my god, it is heaven on earth. Fields of flowers, vegetables and eating yummy food in green houses and open gardens. We got the sausage pizza and the vegetarian pizza. I took a bit of my son's pizza and the peppers were fresh and sweet. And the desserts are lovely too. I have been recommending this to all my friends who are interested or thinking about visiting Stockholm. Unique experience.More

Delicious, bio farm food in the middle of Djurgården. Beautiful area to sit and eat in the garden itself. Highly recommended on a sunny day. Can be very crowded.
