French style bistro with a wonderful terrace in summer time. The "winter"-restaurant is really small but cozy. The food is of excellent quality, no fancy stuff, but traditional French dishes. If you order a steak tartar you get one exactly as it should be! The service is very good, friendly and professional! Loved the small side dishes (best tomato sallad... More

We are regular customers from Berns Salonger and Berns Asiatiska, which is offering the BEST Brunch in town (in my opinion). This time we wanted to try a Brunch at the "little brother" and it did not turn to be a expected, nothing to compare with Asiastiska for sure. The choices were limited, the plates for the soup or mussels... More

We had some lovely traditional french food here. The menu was quite small but the quality of food was great. The service wasn't great, they missed several orders! BUT mistakes was corrected quickly!

We booked this thinking it was in the main dining area! It's actually in a separate building overlooking park - which was actually perfect and a lot quieter than main area. It was more chilled and nice to settle in over a few bottles of wine. Dinner was delicious and service was excellent. After dinner we went over to the... More

Nice little Bistro with excellent food and a very good wine selection. We ordered the moules and the coq av vin and they were excellent. Prices, considering where you are, are good. Staff was professional and very courteous. Needless to say, they speak excellent English.

It was cold, raining and we wanted to eat so we chose Berns as it looked cosy and inviting. Our greeting as we entered was not exactly welcoming as we were challenged as to what we wanted. When we said that we wanted to eat we were placed on a tiny table next to the curtain by the entrance thus... More

We were here having some drinks before we could go to the restaurant. The bar men are very efficient and take great pride in their drinks.

Lovely meal, good wine and service. Menu is straight forward and not fussy but very well presented. Reasonably priced and would recommend.

Friends from out of town loved it, were happy with whisky, wine and champagne selection as well as beef bourguignon. I chose entrecote medium but it was very chewy, served quite red and was pretty fatty. Too busy trying to catch up with old friends to complain but otherwise nice place and good menu. Bit confusing to know which Berns... More

Description
Berns French dining hall opened up in 1944 under a blue-white-red striped marquee in Berns's concert hall. Fernand Gitton, aided by his eight chefs, provided the high quality cuisine. Gitton was known from distinguished restaurants such as Hôtel George V in Paris and Hermitage in La Baule, Bretagne. Bistro Berns opened up autumn 2006, in line with the French tradition. The highly acclaimed bistro delivers high quality food, beverages and service. The pavillion is a natural meeting place throughout the day characterised by its uncomplicated atmosphere and situated in central Stockholm's Berzelii Park. Here they serve French homely cooking with inspiration from all of France. Their succinct wine list represents all of France's classical regions. Bienvenue!
