The best beer list in Scandinavia, rustic food cooked to perfection. The mussles are better than you are likely to find in Brussels. Smiling service. Lots of people on an early Saturday evening, be prepared to share a table. Moderate prices.

First visited the bar for beer. They have a wide variety of beer to choose from, remember to ask the waiters for their specials of the day. Love the decor and ambience at the bar. The waiters were warm and friendly and made us feel at home. Went a great length to recommend the diff types of drinks according to... More

I have been here recently and was impressed by the food and the large variety of beers they serve. Personally loved the mussels, but my friends were really happy with their burgers. If you prefer day time, instead of evenings, then the daily lunch menu also provides some nice variety and good food.

I enjoyed this place and thought it had friendly service. It also had a very impressive beer and whiskey list. I would recommend it more for a business traveler absent a show.

This pub had some of the best beer i had in Scandinavia. I'm from San Diego, a place that has over 130 breweries, and this pub would fit right in. The bartenders were knowledgeable and friendly, though busy. Lots of locals here too. Beer price was average for Sweden. I had a daily special from the kitchen with pork and... More

I was there with my 2 sons. Granted the place was crowded 2h before music, lady said sorry no seat, no one will leave and kids not allowed after 8P. Asked her if she knew of anyother place she said NO. As we walked out the person at the door suggested Oliver Twist - which turned to have a lot... More

Staying in Slussen

Neighbourhood Profile
A unique mix of grotesque 1960s concrete urban vision and cosy historical Swedish brick houses, Slussen has become one of Stockholm’s most architecturally edgy and controversial neighborhoods. Plans to rebuild the area have been on the agenda for decades, however, so far no agreement could be reached, which is the reason for the continuing decay of its brutalist substance. Nevertheless, the museums and the main shopping street, Götgatan, attract both locals and tourists with Sweden’s most fashion-forward clothing retailers, hipster coffee shops and restaurants. Once the lights are out, the area turns into a bustling nightlife haven, catering to all preferences, from posh hotel bars to sweaty underground nightclubs. There is no better place to experience the clash between old and new Sweden.
