A regular kebab that you eat after a night out and don't mind how it tastes. Recently busted for outrageous food handling procedures, such as storing meat a year after its best before date.

Okey fastfood but a little bit rude staff. A lot of food for the foodie and the aioli was good. I took a kebab role and was pleased

The food was good and worth the price paid for. Will enjoy going back there when I'm in Stockholm again.

A friend had recommended the place as one of the good kebab places in town. The kebab was dry, the fries were plastic and the dish just generally looked a bit dull. There are better places to eat kebab in Stockholm.

Folkets is one of countless kebab places in Stockholm, and they're very much the same. Prices are acceptable, and the food's OK. No more - no less.

we love kebab shops in europe. so, looking for dinner, we were excited to find such a good one. they had a standard kebab for 39 kr, which is a bargain and it was quite filling.

They have very nice beef and chicken kabab with rice. Fair price for the meal. Best place to eat in södermalm area.

Went here after a long day of travelling and the friendly, local atmosphere and generous portions of food were such a comfort. The falafels we had were the most delicious I have ever tasted! I couldn't finish mine so I took them home in a napkin for my lunch the next day. The staff are friendly and welcoming too! :-)

I stay in Stockholm a lot and I like to have a Kebab, its my "sin" food when away on business and I have tried a few places but this is the best by a country mile. The portions are huge, I once bought two and that was a mistake as one is huge. Meat is nice and thick and... More

Staying in SoFo & Medborgarplatsen

Neighbourhood Profile
SoFo & Medborgarplatsen
Throughout the last decades these neighborhoods transformed from a rather quiet residential area into the birthplace of Swedish hipsterism and became Sweden’s main hub for new fashion labels, independent coffee shops and innovative gastropub concepts. Despite their extreme transformation, SoFo (South of Folkungagatan) & Medborgarplatsen managed to hold on to their residential charm and quietness and became one of the most sought-after places to live among young people in Stockholm. This neighborhood is also home to Sweden’s highest student hall, Skrapan, which used to be the head office of the tax authorities and now combines a mix of student hall and shopping mall with a bar on top.
