The best salmon I've ever tasted. The reindeer was unbelieveably, but the best of all, was the dessert (cured cheesse with homemade blueberry jam). We went without reservation, but we'd lucky and could dinner with a great service. We'll go as soon as possible

A lovely small restaurant in the old town. Whilst this is firmly within the tourist zone, the food was fresh, delicious and the portions very generous. The menu consists of traditional dishes and the atmosphere is warm and cosy.

I discovered this restaurant while I was in Stortorget and needed to eat somewhere close by. I ordered the reindeer based on my waitress' recommendation, which turned out to be delicious! The meat was unbelievably tender and cooked to perfection. One of the best meals...More

I will say the bad thing first: I was welcomed by who I believe was either the owner or the maître. The reception was really cold, in comparison with all the other swedish experiences. Pass that point, everything else was amazing here. The ambiance is...More

I felt very good in this place as it was really cosy and warm in opposition to the rainy weather from outside. I took the fish casserole (which was actually a stew of clams, fish and vegetables) which I don't think was the best choice....More

Whilst walking through the Old Town looking for a half decent place to eat and came across this delightful, but well hidden gem. The braised ox cheek was delicious and wine list small but excellent. Try their red from Portugal.

We already visited this restaurant three years ago and returned to see if it is still good. And it is. We went on a Saturday evening and definitely needed the reservation! We had the three course menu (mushroom soup, reindeer roast beef, chocolate mousse) and...More

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
