We managed to eat here in our third attempt having finally being able to reserve a table. We went for a set meal which had a delicious fish and seafood soup starter, witch (fish) as the main course and a delicious dessert. The food was...More

We ate in the garden on a pleasant evening in May. Located on inside Haga, the old city, very quaint. Inside dining is very limited, but outside is very comfortable and infrared heaters are everywhere. The seafood is among the best I have had anywhere....More

This restaurant is located a little off the beaten track, but very easy to find, and sited in an interesting historic neighborhood. The interior of the restaurant is very cosy, and there is also a covered patio in back, which is where we sat on...More

Sjöbaren may have fancier compettitors in Gothenburg, but the venue; the restaurant; the court yard; the total experience is hard to beat. A relaxed "cosy" ambience with fish of absolute quality. Add the walk through Haga to get to the restaurant and you have a...More

In one of Gothenburgs most classical hoods this classic fish restaurant serves fish as fresh and as good as it comes right from the sea. It's crowded and cosy, this place has been around and the food is really delicious. When the weather allows it...More

We loved this place. There's a patio out back but we sat inside. Had the cod dish shown in the picture and it was outstanding. Great servers too.

We were told about this restaurant by the wonderful staff at the Hotel Royal. The seafood was excellent. I enjoyed the mussels in a tasty broth and my wife had the the fish soup. The service was very good.

We were lucky and got a table without a reservation and it was, as previous times we have visited, excellent. Nice staff, fantastic food and great ambience. This is a true gem, but make sure to have a reservation.

Went with a friend who is a local. Honestly, have no idea how we got there, seems to be a bit off from the regular touristy zones. However, I need to get the directions because this is absolutely a place to come back to. It...More

Hi, A bit more expensive than 300 SEK, may be 400-450 SEK for a starter, a main course and a bottle of wine (wine is expensive in Swedish restaurants). Lunch is always cheaper, 100-120 SEK for a main course, but without... More
