In Helsinki, if your looking for a genuine Turkish dinner, Ani is most likely the place to go. A bit on the hard side to find, you need to know where you're going, and once there, din't be put off by the sloghtly outdated decoration, just be brave, take a seat. Because that's when the fun begins. The menu is... More

When you're seriously hungry, Ani is the place to go. I recommend the buffet where you will find kebab, usually poultry and also a large selection of different salads. I've heard that the a'la carte is also excellent but as said my default is the buffet. Be prepared to eat too much!

My friends and I went yesterday since we were looking for affordable buffets. (we are students). We found the price 9.90 to be quite reasonable. There were around 10-15 salad options and 6 warm foods. No drinks included in buffet and the water costs extra 40 cents. The placement of the warm foods was annoying since three were in hands... This place is absolute classic in Helsinki, always packed. They serve nice Turkish food as a buffet for a good price. Meats, salads, olives, etc .Good food, authentic Turkish restaurant.

We happened upon this restaurant completely by accident, but I'm glad we did. The food was good (we ordered off the menu for a late dinner) and the service was excellent! Very friendly and cozy restaurant.

Although Ani offers a buffet we chose off the comprehensive menu. There's a good choice of the expected items, we had the adana kebab & beyti keba and both were good (he missed having yogurt with the adana kebab). Service was friendly and attentive. Serves the Turkish beer Effes (which we both like). Price wise was on a par with... More

If you feel for a Eastern food experience and enjoy a self service buffet then this is the place for you. Every dish has its own distinctive taste so that your plate will be a palate flavors by the time you are done scooping up. The cozy interior together with the friendly staff makes it a lovely lunch/dinner experience.

If you are tired of eating just Döner or Pita Kebab, try Turkish buffet @ Ani. Excellent price/quality ration, with a good variety of different kind of Turkish delights and yes, there is also kebab meat available. Also Meze plate is good and delicious! Place´s "Chef" is always kind and friendly
