Perfect for everyone

It is the best place and I love the service and the food and it's a really cozy place. You feel very nice staying here. The prices are very good and there's menus for 2, 4 and bigger. We ate the butter lemon rice, garlic naan, lamb tikka and king prawn Korma

Best indian restaurant in Villa Martin

I went to Copper Chimney on Friday night with a couple of friends. Friendly staff. The owner visited to our table a few times, checking in to make sure we enjoyed everything. The food was amazing - I got the lamb curry with rice and chicken samosa. The meals served rapidly and the rates were reasonable. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic indian. Food was amazing as were staff. Kids eat free when ordering from certain menus. Our toddler was tired and was kicking off, the staff understood and let us delay our main while we settled him. Then bought him a free ice cream. Will 100% be back to this place.

We have been going to the Copper Chimney happily for many years now but sadly our last visit will certainly BE OUR LAST. We paid our bill and on returning home we noticed that we had been charged for 5 x soft drinks but should only been charged for 2 because it was 3 x early bird meals ordered and you receive a free soft drink. The cost now is €14.95 per tea time special meal but on our bill it showed 3 x €10.95 obviously this the old price. My complaint is that this restaurant charged €14.95 but the bill displays the old price, something not right here surely. My wife went back into this restaurant a few days later to dispute the bill trying to explain our complaint but turned out to be a total waste of time. She was offered a free red wine (she doesn’t drink alcohol) but certainly no monetary refund of €9.75. The confused attitude from the staff to my wife will obviously stop us and our friends from returning to this place. Be warned fellow members check your bill before leaving this restaurant, there are plenty other restaurants in the Plaza to pick from.

An Indian not for Indians.

Must be the blandest food we have ever tasted. There was no taste in any of the dishes and this spoilt our visit. Normally Indian restaurants would recognise the fact Indian guests may just want more authentic Indian food and ask. However they never asked and when we complained they stated they have had no complaints in some 14 years. Well in that case whoever eats there must like bland food or they never go back ??

I have to say you people such a big farud and if the food was bland and tasteless and you didn’t even like the any single dish then how is that possible you and all of ur other friends finish all naan breads and aloo partas and rice and all main and side dishes wich was Oder by you and has been eaten by you and ur friends and story is not finished yet when you have eaten everything single dishes on ur table then ur Oder 2 more curry’s how is that possible can you please explain me my lovely unhappy customer.i have checked all cctve footage you and ur friends was 6 I totall and you Oder 2 main cours and 3 side cours after that after that you complain food was not enough and food 🥘 portions was so samall reality is that when you Oder side course dish it will be in samall portion realised all ur storie and please don’t abuse my all lovely customers who been eating food at our restaurant since so many years.My customers have really good food choices and they really know that about Indian food and one more thing miss we have so many Indian customers form uk and even form India as well they always happy with our food unfortunately you is the only person who eat every single dish and after eating all off ur food at the when you have to pay ur bill weher unhappy and stay complaining about everything.We really don’t need ur type off unhappy customers how eat everything and surpriseing fact is food was Tast less and bland such as shame on you

Four of us had watched football upstairs and decided to try here for dinner. We entered restaurant normally youvm would be greeted and shown to a table .but waiter just ignored us . He eventually showed us where to sit put 4 menus down we sat forvm 10 mins before took drinks order. Drinks arrived and the 2 fantascwere out of date 1 was novv22 abdcthe other was Dec 21. Service was terrible food was just OK would not recommend. 2 different sets of people walked out as had been sitting for 15 minutes to be served

A little disappointed

Been coming here for years and the food has always been brilliant, however on this occasion, we were a little disappointed. Whilst the food was okay, it wasn’t up to the standards it usually is. The staff were lovely as always, maybe it didn’t help that it was an overly-humid evening, however the food just wasn’t as flavourful as it usually is. I’ll happily give it another go when I’m next in Villamartin as they may have just had an off day, so I would be willing to give it another try as it may have just been a one off.

Awful Experience

Waited an hour for our starters to come, portion sizes were very small for the cost. The food was very bland which is criminal for an Indian. After we asked for the bill (which we had to go inside for) we were left waiting 15 minutes while the waiter seated and served several other tables. We were then given the bill and were told someone would bring out the card machine. After waiting another 15 minutes my partner chased up the bill in the bar to find out their card machine only works indoors; none of the staff bothered to mention this and left us waiting. I would not recommend to anyone until they improve.

we are really sorry that we couldn't fully ur needs when you was at our lovely restaurant. But on the same time I wuld like to remind you when you arrived ay our restaurant for yor dinner we told you we are extremely busy and we can't serve you just because we was really busy. and if you like to eat food it will take more less 40 to 50 minutes and you said that's oky then how could you compliant about late food and how could we serve you while we were serving those tables how was arrive before you .I have checked all cctv footage when you arrive when you got starters and mean corus. if you like to see I can show you all footage all food was eaten by you. if you really want to enjoy ur food then you must reserve your table in advance to avoid for long wait again we really sorry you must came back with reservation and I will make sure you will love our food and if yor didn't like I will not charge you a single pine

Lovely spot, staff very friendly

Lovely restaurant and great location in the centre of the Plaza. Staff were very friendly. Tables inside and out. Children eat free with two paying adults. Extensive menu. My husband had tandoori mixed platter which was small and included a tandoori leg and thigh which didn’t taste the best. I had special chilli chicken which was very sweet. My son had a dopiaza which he said he enjoyed. Portion sizes were small. Garlic rice and garlic nan bread were good. Was it the best meal I’ve had in Villamartin? Sadly not but guess it depends on what you order.

Worst take away we've ever had. Lamb Rogan Josh was poor. Didn't taste like one Ive ever had before, really gloopy and meat was terrible. Mrs korma was really watery and not good. No discount or free bottle of wine with order given as stated on menu if you spend over 20 euros which we did. If you want a decent curry then go somewhere else!

Staff very convincing and friendly. Prices just about reasonable as a two course meal with one beer for two people was 50 Euros however portion size was the smallest for any curry house I have ever visited. A clear case of shrinkflation. I can only assume after a tough two years with Covid they seek to recoup losses using Hunger Games !!! Will not return. There is another curry house in The Plaza and it may be a better choice although we didnt get to try it !

Would not recommend. We was enjoying our summer holiday and treating my mother in law to a 60th Birthday meal. We ordered a chicken Tikka masala and other curries which had zero taste, we understand this is a mild curry, it tasted of cream only no flavours at all, we did not enjoy the meal and was very disappointed. Would not return.

Excellent location, varied menu and friendly, efficient staff. We had poppadums, mixed starters, varied mains accompanied with rice and naan. All food cooked perfectly, lots of flavour. Highly recommend.

We called to order home delivery, but they said we had to order in Messenger. So we did. We ordered menu 3 (2 papidom, 2 starters, 2 main, 2 sideorder, 1 nan and 1 rice and a bottle of wine) for home delivery - to the price of 30 euro. The food came, but we got only 1 main. We wrote a message to the restaurant, and their reply was "we are really sorry". Spending all that money for only 1 main! We will never use money on that place again.

Yet another fantastic meal

My husband and I were at The Copper Chimney, which is in the Villamartin Plaza, again last night. We really cannot fault the food, ambience or service and even though we have been a few times now we have never come away with anything other than praise. Their set menu (27 Euros per couple) allows you to pick any 2 starters, 2 mains, 2 rice/naan from their entire menu options and also either a bottle of house red/white or rose wine. We will be back again soon... Try it as I'm sure you will enjoy it.
