I had the best steak ever. This restaurant is really really good. Excellent service, nice atmosphere and playing Icelandic music. It was really cosy and outstanding quality of food. My 100% recommendation !

We had never heard of the restaurant before we came there so we asked around and found out that it had been there for some time. However it was now run by new owners. Judging by our experience they will hopefully be there for years to come. Not overly crowded and the atmosphere was relaxed with soft Icelandic music playing... More

When travelling Iceland we ended up in this little restaurant by chance (running from the rain) and we ended up having an excellent dinner. The fish was excellent, very interesting combination with local vegetables and herbs. It went well with the local beer, there were more options than the standard ones. The people were friendly and helpful and the atmpsphere... More

My husband and I had the Shut Up Burger for lunch and yes I can't shut up about it. Tasty, jucy, just the perfect balance needed for a burger.

This was a nice find. I ordered a calzone, which was amazing! My husband ordered a chicken sandwich which he said was good, but not great. The service was slow, but it was relaxing and the food made it worth it.

En route from Reykjavik to Akureyi, we located this small dining establishment. With a non-descript exterior, it was a little difficult to find however I am glad we persevered. The meal was outstanding: delicate cod, subtly sauced and accompanied by a bountiful array of vegetables, and chocolate molten lava cake. Attentiveness to presentation was readily apparent. My hat's off to... More

Quality food and decent value for Iceland. Akranes is an underestimated little spot that's well worth visiting. Very good meal of salmon on a bed of asparagus and mashed potato. The staff were courteous and happy to chat all things local.

Not sure who some of the other reviewers had, but our waiter was very nice and on top of our service. We got the vegetable pizza and the parma ham salad as well as the brownie desert, and all of the dishes were delicious. We were really happy to find such good food in Akranes!

The food was fine, but the service not so much. Glases and cutlary were smudge and one persons dinner arrived much later.
