We had dinner there and the food was good and the service was good. You could get soup, bread etc. (self serve) complementary with the main courses (brought to your table by the waiter/waitress). The steak was cooked as requested and was very tasty though seasoned a bit too much for my taste. The serves were generous. The locals frequent... More

I was in Bautinn twice for a Pizza. It was very good. The staff is very friendly. The Bautinn is a good place to eat and to spend not too much Money.

We had an early dinner and the service was very slow even for Iceland standards. A soup and salad bar was $25 and thought the salad bar was full of options the greens were pretty limited. The homemade bread was great

We enjoyed our meal here. Large menu with pizza, burgers and fish. They have a salad bar which is included in a few of the entrees. One can even order it as a main dish. Soup is also on the salad bar. Easy to find and moderately priced for Iceland.

We were there for Canadian Thanksgiving, so we splurged on this meal. We had the horse, and the guillemot, which is a type of bird. The horse was better. Both included soup and salad bar buffet, which had lots of choices. We totally filled up on it before our entrees arrived, so we were very full after our meal.

I had some great fish here though I wanted to try the whale, it seamed wrong after whale watching. I overheard another customer say after eating it that it was good but nothing special. I had the Artic Char and it was very good. I enjoyed the free salad bar. Lots of options and good for people with dietary restrictions... More

My husband and I went with our son, after reading the good reviews of the salad bar. I am sorry to say, but quality of the salad bar was really poor. We came in early around six, but most of the choises in the salad bar (pasta, vegetables and salad) looked like it had been out all day. The salad... More
