We went here for lunch yesterday. So glad we did. A warm welcome from Madame la patronne who runs it single handed while her husband is working on the refurbishment of their house. She is an excellent cook. I had Confit de Canard. The best I have had in France for a long time. Not too salty, moist with really crispy skin (by my special request). The lamb chops although perfectly cooked just as we had asked did not have much flavour. Usual, unfortunately, with French lamb. It is interesting that the best lamb we have found locally was from New Zealand! A very good chocolate fondant ( not " Maison" but she can't do everything). Thoroughly recommended for a very good value and well cooked meal served in an elegant room with charm.

Brave new(ish) venture; smart revamp of a shop on a shoestring. Food simple, but grilled magret and frites good, wines at great prices so for a local equvalent of a steak and chips with a glugable bottle at around 25 euros with coffee super rapport qualite/prix. We use early for pre cinema dinner.
