We were staying at this hotel and was told the lobster is great, so we wanna try. However, it's disappointed.. it's not fresh & not tasty as all...and it's expensive. I don't know if the Chef missed something or what....but it's not worth to pay high price with bad quality of food !!!

This is a restaurant in a hotel in Höfn Iceland. I am a tour leader with 9people. I gave them time and chose the menu before anyone was there. The staff does not speak nor understand English well . First the waiter tells ne they can do dairy free lobster soup. 15mins later he comes and says" no , we cant do it" Anyways, although I ordered our group menu and joked about " ı choose the menu for everyone otherwise they will bankrupt me" and he laughed 40mins later comes and says " will you take a main course?" and also they served to another crowded group which came 15mins after us and no excuse.
They are not proffessional and dont care

Offerings were a touch on the pricey side but not unsurprising given it is attached to the hotel. Our party had the lobster pizza (large, filling), burgers, and cod dishes. Overall a good meal, nothing memorable. Service was great and they were able to accommodate a late night arrival for dinner, which was appreciated. The way our particular table was arranged was a bit tighter and I kept bumping into the person behind me when I moved my chair.

We bought the lobster food. Soup and boiled and fried lobster was served. The soup was without taste.The service was very poor, unqualified staff, unexperienced and rude. Not a good choice, if you can go somewhete else go,

My mom and I had been driving around for a while, and we were getting very hungry. We saw that the hotel that my mom had booked had a restaurant, so we decided to eat there. We saw the menu, and it looked pretty good, but oh dear, it wasn't. We ordered the lobster feast, and all of the food tasted like it was frozen (probably because it was), and the only good thing was the water. I hope that people will reconsider their decision if they want to eat there.

We were staying at the hotel and too tired to go elsewhere, so we decided to have dinner here. Mistake. The food was terrible. The arctic char was tasteless and the Vegan Oumph inedible. To top it off, the coffee was bitter.

Very friendly and attentive staff.
The food is good (we took the special Langoustine menu) a little fatty for us. In addition, everything was served to us at the same time: soup, tempura and pan-fried langoustine. I don't know if it's customary in Iceland but it surprised us.

Dinner taken at the hotel based on the good comments on Trip Advisor.
So we had the lobster tagliatelle. Very good but not plentiful. There were more cherry tomatoes than pieces of lobster. The taste was there thanks to the sauce but disappointing all the same. Moreover, in Iceland, bread is paid for and we had to ask for some to be able to add sauce to our plate.

Excellent restaurant.
Great service.
We ate cod steak and a lobster “festival”. (Enjoy eating lobsters in this region, we haven't seen them in other cities in the north for example)
Price lower than what we saw in Reykjavik.
The place is small, it's worth booking.

Was pleasantly surprised given all the negative reviews. The Arctic char was cooked perfect and had such amazing flavor. The skin was nice and crisply! Would definitely order this dish again!

Do not go here! The menu looks nice - but it all comes directly from the freezerfrom the nearest suoermarket - and prized liked it was made fresh. Pizza: 3400n- 3900 Kr , equals 24 euro... frozen pizza - tastes like dove with tomatosauce.
We arrived late - was so happy arriving to a nice looking restaurant looking good and cozy - friendly staff. We did 3 courses and hoped that it would get better with the next dish.. but NO! Paid more than at the best restaurant we webt to at Geyser hotel - VERY VERY BAD EXPERIENCE!

Came hear with my son for a 2 course dinner. My son had edamame followed by beef tenderloin, while I went for the salad with nuts and cheese followed by Atlantic char. Overall the food did not disappoint. The portions were decent and the taste actually quite good, just not great or with a twist. In my case the Mango /cucumber chutney was probably the most daring component. Don’t get
Me wrong. Nothing wrong here, the service is fast and friendly.

Most of the restaurants in Hofn serve a lot of seafood, and Osinn is no different. Most dishes on the menu featured fresh, locally caught seafood and all of them looked quite good. The atmosphere here is nice, the space itself isn't too big and the lighting is very intimate. If you are staying at the Hotel Hofn, you received a discount on your dinner here, which is always nice!

Stayed overnight at hotel and decided to eat at the restaurant. (Discount provided to hotel guests). We had the lobster pizza (really good, unique taste for pizza) and the grilled lobster (good, not great.). Icelandic lobster tails are small, so the meal was good, but not very filling. Chocolate lava cake for desert was amazing, best desert we had on our trip!
