Salka is really trying, the interior is cute, clean and cosy. Their wok chicken is excellent and their pizzas taste extremely good. The fish ingredients are really fresh. The service is usually quite good but if there is alot to do they sometimes seem to miss focus.

Great location and great service. Good food. Fish and meat. Friendly service. Near the harbour so the view is superb.

We called in to Restaurant Salka for lunch after our morning whale watching excursion. A good selection on the menu, fairly priced and good service.

Stopped here for lunch after visiting the Whale Museum. Menu offers enough options to appeal to most palettes. Wi-fi, friendly staff, good prices, and most of all great food.

This quaint little restaurant, next to Husavik's main harbor and whale watching hub, has the best soup in Iceland - and we tried a LOT of soup in Iceland. Absolutely get the lobster soup to warm your soul and spirits after a trip whale watching into the sea!

Good food, though they could have used and extra wait staff. The people were friendly though and quick for looking super busy. I have some dietary restrictions and they were great about it. Never have this easy a time in the States.

We had hamburger and fries. Generous portion. Tasty! Nice patio to look over the sea and the piers! Gets crowded especially when there is a festival.

We both ordered the prawns with lobster risotto. Although the risotto tasted nice, it tasted of cheese and not lobster. Mine was slightly undercooked, too. The prawns were cooked beautifully. Portion size was small; I grew hungry again after an hour or 2. I have to admit that I'm a big eater, but still.

We had de sushi as an appetizer, and it was very good and tasty. Loved the fruit/fish combinations. For main we had de risotto and Artic Charr, It was fresh en very well prepared. No complains. Service was friendly.

After a day's driving on the 'Golden Ring' my son and I found this place after asking a local where it was good to eat. We weren't disappointed. We ate lunch here then evening meal after a Whale watching trip. Both meals were very good quality and reasonably priced for Iceland!

Cozy family owned restaurant offering steaks, seafood, pizza, pasta or burgers made with passion. Our food is not off the shelf, but homemade from scratch. We offer typical icelandic dishes like lamb and cod or catfish in a fresh, modern style. In the summer time it is great to sit outside in our plaza and enjoy delicious food, snacks and cocktails. Housed in one of the oldest buildings in Husavik and in the city centre you can't miss us.
