So this shack is literally a hole in the wall. Very warm and friendly and clean. Soup was good. Even have bottled alcohol.

Simple fish kabobs you choose yourself. We also had two different veggie kabobs to go with the fish. Lots of fish choicest and without a doubt the freshest fish I have ever eaten!!!

The lobster soup was absolutely delicious! The lady at the counter recommended the halibut so I got that and the scallop kebabs. Fresh and sweet! Pretty worth it for the amount of food and the price. It was very filling for one person.

Had lunch here this past week and, wow!, this place is great! Cozy, casual, and personable, Saegreifinn should not be missed during a stay in Iceland! My daughter and I celebrated her 17th birthday-lunch here with Lobster Soup and four skewers of Cod, which to our surprise was impossible to consume in one sitting - servings were huge! Staff was... While searching for affordable places to eat I came across this on a list and after our whale watching tour it was just what we needed. The soup was great with chunks of lobster. But our fish kebobs were so tender and fresh they were amazing!!!

Busy place with mostly young people. Had soup found it watery. Fresh fish on skewers delicious. Atmosphere casual. Price average.

Went there for lunch after the tour guide recommended it. He said it was one star on the outside and 5 stars on the inside. The food was very good. I had the lobster soup (excellent) and grilled fish skewers. It cost about 23 dollars, which is very cheap for Reykjavik. Don't be scared off when you open the door... More

They did an excellent job of pointing out wildlife, of bringing the ship close to islands. Loved the lobster soup made with fresh caught seafood.

As many other reviewers said already, the lobster soup is heavenly. This is not rich or heavy lobster bisque, it is lighter, flavorful and entirely delicious. The amount of lobster meat in your bowl may vary, but the flavor delivers every time. As for the restaurant, the location on the port is easy to access, there are a few long... More

We ate here on Thursday night with a large group, the night before a friend's wedding. They had booked it a long while ago, although when we arrived they had mistakenly booked our table for 12 rather than 7pm...luckily they had enough room but we had to sit on separate tables which wasn't ideal. The service as a whole was... More
