If you are at all interested in top notch cooking plan to stop by this restaurant.Reservations are a must. Served as either a 5 or 7 course tasting menu the offerings are pure Icelandic. Excellent wines are paired with the meal if you choose. Some of the best food I have ever eaten.

We made reservations weeks in advance based on what we heard and it was well worth it. Dill did not disappoint in any way. We opted for the 7 course tasting menu + wine pairings. Every course was unique, full of flavors, and we even got to try some new things we haven't had before - which is pretty rare... More

Dill is definitely a destination for foodies. Every course, though miniature, was a mouthful of local flavor. Creative presentations with each bite, whether tender lamb, chicken-skin-chips, sparkling caviar, caramelized carrots or a bird's nest of breads. Chef-inspiring

We had an amazing evening at Dill. We booked well in advance and were really looking forward to the evening. I was a bit afraid that i might have set my expectations too high, but it turned out quite as expected actually! Dill is not about meals, it's about taste experiences and powerful combinations that go well together. We took... More

At first, when your server sets a dish with two tiny items on it (they turn out to be some kind of glazed carrot), you may get worried. After all, Dill charges over $120 for a 7-course tasting menu; wine is extra. But as the beautifully prepared small dishes come and go, you will experience many delectable sensations and tastes.... The staff at Dill was very attentive and put a lot of care into the food but this place is not for everyone. We have adventurous palates and have no problem spending $200 on a meal. While the courses are creative and beautifully presented, the portions are tiny and not always appetizing. One course was a single carrot on a... More

From first course to the last, this meal did not disappoint. Presentation was so unique and interesting and the flavours were fantastic. I have recommended this other friends who have visited Iceland since my visit. Don't miss it!

We were expecting something exceptional according to the comments here on TA, however how disappointed we were, it was my sons 30th birthday and this was supposed to be a special meal, our first course was a slice of carrot! And another course looked and tasted like sawdust!. We have been to lots and lots of very nice restaurants, enjoying... More

The food was amazing and quite unique. The service was superb. You start with 6 small snacks then decide if you want a 5 course or 7 course tasting menu with the optional wine pairing. Everyone at the table has to do the same menu though. The only downside was that they seemed kind of sneaky with what you are... More

Possibly the most incredible restaurant experience I've ever had. The finest food, I particularly loved the tusk and kale, the finest wine, plus a beer in the mix to keep things interesting and the most delightful vodka with rhubarb to conclude an occasion I'll be talking about for some time to come...
