This, by far, was the best meal I have had in a long time. The chef's talents are outstandingly expressed in his meals. Myself and my friend had the Around Iceland fixed meal. Beautiful presentation with every plate, and the flavors were exquisite! Then they...More

On a business trip to Reykjavik and enjoyed a very pleasant lunch in this city restaurant. Really good fresh food and very reasonably priced as well.

Had a long lunch one Friday in September with my other half. It had been a while since my last visit so I was not sure what to expect. We had sushi and it was fantastic, I had some special requests that they were happy...More

We found this place through our tour guide of the city. He had high remarks for this restaurant. I can't say enough good about our meal. We did the four or five course chefs pairing with wine. It has been talked about dozens of times...More

The Fish Company was recommended to us by the desk person at our hotel and he was right on the mark! The atmosphere was marvelous, the staff superb and the food exceptional. Couldn't have been happy for our first night on the island.

We went here for the last Dinner in Iceland on our trip more accidently than wanted ( the first two priorities were completely packed and not even a waiting list was existing...so make sure you have a reservation in the good restaurants, even during weekdays...),...More

I booked a table here to celebrate my boyfriends birthday and could not have asked for anything more to end our trip to Iceland. We arrived 20 minutes late after getting lost and were still greeted warmly on arrival - the restaurant itself is stunning...More

Seafood is amazing. Cooked to perfection. Artic char that tastes as nice as salmon (unlike what we get in the US). Smoked salmon appetizer is also very good. Unfortunately, this place looses points for sushi that is not that good. Rice is not cooked right....More

A bowl of soup in Reykjavik costs $20. A reasonable pour of whiskey in a bar costs $20. A very nice dining experience for 2 costs about $300 including wine, which is about what it costs in Seattle, my home town. Everything in Reykjavik costs...More

Hello! My friends are visiting Iceland in March, and was just wondering if we need to make reservations, or can we just walk in? Thank you!

Best to have reservations...
Hello, Would it be appropriate to bring a (usually very well behaved) six year old to this restaurant? An early dinner? Please advise.

This is seven months late, but for those wondering, 1) Yes, they have a children's menu 2) We were seated next to a well-behaved 4 or 5 year-old at dinner time - no issues whatsoever.
