We enjoyed a very nice meal that included what else? Lamb and cod the staples of our week of dining in Iceland. Throw in the langostine soup and simple casual meal end up being $135. Being my namesake, we had to go!

The restaurant appears to be fairly new. We decided to try it because a customer saw a group of people perusing the menu and rushed out to tell us the food was great. He was absolutely right. The facility is sparkling clean with a lovely...More
Strolled around popular Laugavegur street and glanced at menu's of many of the restaurants and picked Harry's. We were glad that we did as the food and the service in this place were fabulous. The seafood pasta and the lamb were our favourites but the...More
We began with spring rolls as an appetizer; I had the lamb shops and my wife had the arctic char. Everything was delicious, clearly fresh and certainly well prepared. I should add that I had a glass of wine and the amount poured was generous...More
We actually ate here twice, before and after our cruise. The restaurant is small with friendly staff. Fresh local fish and meat are simply prepared. Prices are in line with similar cenral town establishments.
We had an amazing meal! The fish was excellent. Normally very efficient service and all the staff were really friendly. Loved it so much we are going back tomorrow to try the lamb!
We recently visited Harry's for a dinner on our recent vacation. There were 8 of us, so most of entrees were tried. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their entree, appetizer and desserts. Service was good, but not great. It is a small restaurant, so we found it...More
This is conveniently located in downtown. Food was amazing-- I had the lobster soup and salmon- both perfectly cooked. Service was not great; the male waiter was attentive but the female lead was terrible-- we had to ask for water, wait on a table for...More
Maybe we had a little high expectations. Harry’s delivers great food but the environment/restaurant is terribly noisy with all guests taking. It’s bad design of the room with bad acoustic characteristics. The staff delivered OK service but nothing special. Knowing this, if I had the...More
We ate at Harry's for dinner twice over our ten day stay in Iceland. Between the six of us I think we sampled most of the menu. Everything was very good, the haddock and lamb shank were excellent. Service was good and the prices reasonable...More
