This restaurant is well worth a visit, it was lovely to travel out of the main part of Reykjavik (it's a 10 minute drive) where the restaurants were pretty crowded and noisy. This place was calm and very welcoming. The staff were brilliant, explained the menu to us and were always around for drinks etc. The food was the best... More

Went with work colleagues and everyone enjoyed their meals. Set menu with good variety. The appetizer was a real taste test and impressive. I had turkey and it was very good.

Definitely worth a visit. Can stay in the pool for a while but you will need to cool down. We did so by running down the beach into the sea but you could just sit on the side! There is also a steam room but we didn't use it. Showers etc. very clean and warm

When I started writing this review I was reminded that I had rewiewed it before. The thing is that it is one of my favorite places to go and eat. Not too fancy but still so nice and cosy. We had three courses, carapacchio-fish-chocoladekake. Everything was perfect and the service too.

We decided to have lunch after a seminar at Nauthóll and were not disappointed. I had the chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, it was very good and a bit spicy. Service was good and my coworkers were happy with their fish dishes. One had fish of the day and the other fish and chips. Everyone was full and happy... More

A very nice and cosy place to visit. The location is special and the house architecture is designed as a mixture of hard and soft textures drawn from nature. The service is personal and friendly. Well worth the visit.

This was our favorite meal the first time in Iceland, so we had to return. Still clean and modern, and it was good, but not as amazing as last time. Sort of wish we had skipped it this time around because it blew the memories we had if its prior greatness!
