While in Iceland, we wanted to try some of the local delicacies that we'd never usually eat. When in Iceland, you know? it was surprisingly hard to find a local place that served all of those unique options, but finally we found Islenski Barinn! We...More

I went there 3 times and all 3 dinners were very nice. The reindeer burger was one of the best burgers I've ate here in Iceland. The staff was very nice and helpful. Will go there again for sure.

We tried the Minke Whale, the Puffin, the Reindeer Burger and the Fish and Chips. First, of course it’s expensive, it’s Iceland - everything is expensive. But this place has nice ambiance, great location, excellent service and a pub like atmosphere. Food was exceptional. Great...More

Icelandic through and through. Icelandic cuisine with a twist. Not touristy, more the place for travelers to mix with the locals. The only bar in the world that serves all Icelandic beers and spirits.
