I ordered the missing dogs - deep fried langoustine and it was delicious. The langoustine was fresh and the bun was soft and fluffy. It was priced at Kr 2260. No meal is complete without a beer and I tried the Einstok Pale Ale on tap which was refreshing and smooth.

Our group of 4 ordered traditional meat soup, gratinated fish stew, and two burgers. Excellent food and even provided GF bread on request. Server was a little cool but very accommodating. He may have been the only one on duty. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and didn't feel rushed. Prices were comparable for Reykjavik which we found high. Food seemed... More

Loved the atmosphere! The service was typical Icelandic service, the food was good. We also decided to try the fermented shark, which was an interesting experience. You really only get a few tiny dice of shark meat, but personally I felt that it was more than enough, since the smell and taste were... particular. It's centrally located and not really... More

Visited this bar on our last night in Reykjavik. Very busy bar and we were fortunate enough to get a table without reservation. Service was efficient but not intrusive and there was a terrific ambience and cosiness in the bar. Menu had a good variety of traditional Icelandic dishes but also options of more mainstream dishes. Iceland is expensive to... More

This place was so good! It was extremely busy on the weekend but during the weekday we were able to get a table. They served traditional islandic foods, such and the meat soup and items such as Puffin, Whale, Horse and Lamb. They even had the famous fermented shark! Highly recommend!

Probably the best meal I've had in Reykjavik. The fin whale with bacon was outstanding. The staff where attentive and pleasant. Cosy atmosphere with a slight charming buzz. Pretty decent prices and the fruit beer was also a very pleasant surprise. I would 100% recommend having lunch or evening meal here!

Been to Iceland 3 times and been to this bar numerous times. This place is a very chill place where you can have some food and some local beers and just chill out and relax. They definitely have some of the local specialties for you to order. It is good comfort food. The atmosphere is what really brings me back... More

Went with family and another couple. We tried whale- excellent! Reindeer burger- good too! Fish & chips - nice portions, well battered & perfectly fried. Fish of the day was salmon- ok dish. We tried the pancake dessert, crepes with caramel sauce & whipped cream, ok but not spectacular.
