One of the few less expensive restaurants we visited. Very close to our hotel. We visited many others including Dill, Sea Baron fish shack, Old Iceland Restaurant, Restaurant of Canopy Hotel, and Supa a great vegan/vegetarian choice

Excellent food and service. Best lamb I ever had done two ways. Minke whale and puffin are specialties. Wine was as expensive as other restaurants in Iceland but there was a reasonable selection. Servers are knowledgeable about what to pair with.

Went there through a recommendation from our hotel (21 Hill). The staff was very helpful with the choices. My starter was the vegetable spring roll - this dish was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. I would become a vegetarian just because...More

We had the winter menu special which was excellent! The main dish: tacos with lobster was really great, as well as an excellent dessert! Service is quick without much fuss (if good or bad you have to decide). Pricey, as expected but totally worth it!

My husband loved the reindeer burger while I devoured the vegetable Spring Roll. Such a delicious dish - loaded with veggies, warm and comforting, especially on a rainy day. Would definitely return.

We came in there with a group of almost 30. They were quick and efficient. We had a pre-set menu that was the best most of us ever had! We started with a sampler platter of local specialties and would have been fine with that....More

This restaurant was a marvellous culinary experience. The mink whale fillet as a starter was creating taste explosions in my mouth that I wasn't expecting. My main course, lamb steak, was a sensational piece of lucullic magic. The raspberry sorbet as desert is comparable to...More

In 2010 a young chef from Húsavík, was awarded Chef of the year 2010 in Iceland. The young chef, Gústav spent months traveling around Iceland looking for the real taste of Iceland, along the way he found a few things that are key items of the interior of the restaurant.Take a look at our menu, it will be our pleasure to fire up the old grill when you honor us with a visit.
