I ordered fried cod and french fries, my friend ordered Hamburger. Actually it was not bad, very typical Icelandic style food. Cod was fresh and soft, white meat tastes juicy. French fries are made just well, delicious. Well, in such a place, I mean in Iceland, food is not the most important thing. You get it?

The only food I really enjoyed was the dessert, altho there wasn't much choice. I had lamb smoked and grilled. Grilled was good, altho more well done than I requested, and the smoked tasted like ham. The asparagus was woody. My partner had a fish soup she raved about but was not thrilled with her main course which I have... More

We first visited this restaurant in November 2012 by mistake really, just hungry and walking past. Every time we have come back to Iceland 2014 and 2016 (twice) we have come back to eat here. We were apprehensive at returning the first time as you don't want to ruin that perfect memory but the staff and food has never disappointed.... More

This is opposite the Aurora Experince and the Maritime Museum so handy for both! There is a restaurant on one side and the buffet is on the other. The buffet was excellent value for money and utterly delicious!! Fish soup was included in the price. The different fish was cooked in different ways and there was also a pork dish... More

We booked this restaurant for my 50th birthday meal and I must say they didn't disappoint. The food was excellent and the service great. It's quite expensive, but then so is everything in Iceland at the moment. Even so, in my opinion, it should be on the must visit list while in Reykjavik.

One of my best restaurants by far. This should get a Michelin star rating. Best in service and food and ambience.

This restaurant was recommended to us and it did not disappoint. From appetizer to main course, delicious! The langoustine, the salmon. It was so filling that we did not have room for dessert.

We passed this restaurant on the way to Hallgrimskirkja and very intrigued so we went in for a look which was very pleasing. We made a reservation for 2 days later and it was fabulous. We had a lovely table and a charming waiter who brought 'taster' appetizers. Our meals were delicious & thoroughly enjoyed the ambience of the whole... More
