Went for a quick breakfast but loved the place so much, ended up going for dinner next day. Very friendly staff, who went out of their way to make scrambled eggs for my son as he didn't want boiled egg, served per the menu. Croissant and sourdough bread was freshly backed and to die for. For dinner we had the... More

We had a great breakfast on the "first day of summer" - first Thursday after April 18th. The high winds and snow didn't make it feel like summer. We snuck into this cosy cafe which had a nice mix of locals and tourists. The food was great. The homemade bread was AMAZING!

My girlfriend bought an offer on Hopkaup.is. 3 course dinner meal at Bergson. For starter we had lamb chops. It´s one of the best starters i´ve tasted. Main course was cod and for desert we had Creme Brule and vanilla ice cream. It´s easy to say that the food was amazing. Bergsdon Mathús just started with this dinner menu and... More

Good soups and salads, coffee and amazing whole meal cookies. Nice, relaxed and comfortable spot with good music and a great location. Very good, very hot teas. And the bread !! Everything tastes homemade and delicious. Go.

Best meal we've enjoyed here. The roast chicken for two with roasted vegetables and three side selections - $46 US is a great value, as well as the grilled cod for two and sides.

Come in on a morning flight, drop your bags off at your hotel and go here next. The breakfast is outstanding and cappuccino perfect for jet lag.

Picked scallops and muscles for appetizers and split a baked cod. Fantastic. Cod was so tender. Finished off with apple pie and cappuccinos. Great meal and attentive service.

Took the family with me to this nice restaurant. Small crowd on a wednesday night and a great atmosphere. We had beef and cod to share and their were great. The Icelandic Þorskur (cod) was absolutely amazing.
