We had a busy day exploring and wanted somewhere quick and tasty to eat. After reading reviews we decided to come here. Pizza and pasta was freshly made and tasted amazing! Only waited 10 minutes while it was cooked in front of us. We took it away but there's a small sitting area where people grabbed a slice to eat.... More

As many others have said, this is one of the best priced places in the city. As vegetarians we struggled to find some affordable food and ended up here on two different evenings. We took advantage of the special on slices and paid $800 for two slices. A couple of nights later we bought the full marguerita pizza for 1700... More

Nice little pizza place and reasonable prices. Super tasty hot pizza, but staff seemed exhausted. Got more staff!

We went between 5-9 which is when their happy hour is - you basically get a large Pizza for the price of a small one. They are huge! We had leftovers the following day too as we couldn't eat it all. For Iceland, it was great value!

We visited Iceland knowing the food prices would be high, before travelling I looked on TripAdvisor for cheap places and came across this place. Whilst I wouldn't normally go on holiday and get a takeaway for the hotel room, the fact that everything is so expensive kind of means you either wander around in the cold fairly aimlessly, or end... Iceland can be expensive. Very expensive actually. Food prices in the tourist areas are typically $30 or more for any normal meal and smaller eats are mid 20s. Well the deli delivered when it comes to portion, quality and price! Wow! The pasta was superb, my panini was excellent. We were going to go to a fancy Italian restaurant just... More

I walked by this place a handful of time and never thought about going in until it was 10:00pm and I was in search of dinner. It seems as though most restaurants stop serving food around 9:30-10 but not The Deli. I was pleasantly surprised to find a pretty decent bowl of pasta with vegetables! As a vegetarian I was... We are looking for a restaurant not much expensive for lunch and we choose this pizza place. You have 3 slices of pizza for 1200 icelandic krona. It was made from fresh ingredient. Nice small place!

If you're an American looking for a decent slice of NY style pizza The Deli has you covered. We needed a quick, easy meal that we could carry out and bring back to our rental apartment on our first night in Reykjavik when everyone was too wiped from travelling to go out for dinner. We grabbed a large pie and... More

We ate here after reading the good reviews. We were expecting a restaurant, but it's more takeaway in style with limited high-stool seating inside. Nevertheless, the pizzas descriptions sounded great and we fancied a more casual dinner anyway. We ordered two small pizzas but were informed of an offer where we got the large pizzas for the same price as... More
