Lots of ice cream flavours to choose from along with the whippy (soft scoop) ice cream. I would recommend the special waffle with ice cream as its a perfect size to share and great value for money; it includes two scoops of ice cream, sauce...More

The ice cream parlour has limited seating but plenty of standing room (good in December when it's freezing outside!) The choice of flavours is vast and unusual and the portion sizes are very generous. The Christmas cake ice cream was delicious.

Tons of flavours with friendly staff happy for you to taste them until you find the one you want! Range of six sorbets for anyone dairy free or vegan, the raspberry was lovely with little chunks in there too.

My friends & I visited here for dessert one evening during our 4 day trip to Iceland. I was full from my dinner but had to sample the liquorice ice cream & I’m so glad I did! Not strong, quite subtle but very yummy.

We were exploring the harbour area and were lucky enough to stumble upon Valdis. It's super cute, and despite being incredibly cold we popped in for ice cream. You only need a single scoop for children (and adults) as they are huge scoops. The After...More

We stumbled across this place whilst walking around the harbour in freezing rain! Had a couple of tastes and went for the licorice. Don’t be put off by the grey colour! Delicious!

We came here to try out the licorice ice creams (they have two varieties) and we LOVED them both. I'm not a fan of licorice at all but they do it well in Iceland. Perhaps it's just the Aussie versions that are gross but the...More

A lovely dessert visit following fish at Kaffivagninn. Valdis has a huge range of ice cream flavours; I went for vanilla, cranberry and gingerbread - and it was delicious!

Home made icecram with much variety to choose from and ofcourse local flavors - salted liquorice icecream is very popular - locals love it. Valdís uses fresh ingredients and the secret ingredient is passion - alot of it! We would be happy to see you :)
