A restaurant that is an experience to eat in, with a fine menu of well cooked and presented food and drink and served by smart and helpful staff.

We ate in a More expensive restaurant with a better tripadvisor rating than Caruso one of the nights and we were extremely disappointed. We ate in Caruso twice on our weekend visit to Reykjavik. We couldn't resist and had to go back the second time. The food was to die for, the house wine was gorgeous and so light to... More

Caruso’s is one of Reykjavík’s very popular Italian restaurants for so many reasons. They made our experience there a wonderful and memorable one. The employees go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and comfortable. They made it fun….not to mention the food is absolutely delicious – the quality is excellent and they serve authentic Italian cuisine with... More

Well worth visiting for Italian food. Centrally located. Cosy. Friendly ambience. Would recommend the carbonara!

Looks like a little house. Very charming and staff was very attentive. Food quality was very good. You could tell they took the time to get the flavors in the food.

Medium rare surf and turf was very medium. Overcooked! Unwelcoming atmosphere from some of the staff. No acknowledgement on the way out after spending £150. With this service you will close if you don't smile!

Make a reservation. We walked in cause the place looked cozy. The guy who greeted us asked if we made reservations. We didn't. He smiled and said, 20 min wait and I can get you in - he recommended sitting at the bar. The wait was not that long - the bar area is small but very cozy. I had... More

We did not have a reservation for this restaurant, but within 15-20 mins they were able to seat us in their upstairs area, look like they converted the attic for additional seating. It was quaint, we loved the decor. They had a violinist that would play both upstairs and down, it was lovely to hear it in the background. The... More
