We tried this restaurant as it had a nice appearance and presented a traditional Italian menu. The eating area entered from the main door was already full when we arrived, but we were led inside to another sizeable room where there were several empty tables. The service was quick and attentive and the food was served quite quickly. The food... More

This was a restaurant that we stumbled upon. It was good value and good portioned Italian food. Still expensive by British standards, but good value for Reykjavik. I had a great lasagna, my son had a good pizza, my daughter enjoyed the carbonara and my husband liked the meatballs.

We went here on a really rainy night, it was quite busy when we went in but managed to get a good table. They have a mixture of lots of items to try including snails, I did not have this thought. We ordered two 12 inch margarita pizza's and two loads of garlic bread , including drinks and it only... More

Four of us went to dinner on our last night - we had different kinds of pasta and they were all very delicious (and I will admit to being a pasta snob!!!). Service was really good and fun - it was a lovely evening. Place filled with local families - on our list of places to go back to.

When you need a break from all the delicious seafood in Reykjavik give Hornid a try. Strange name but great Italian food & excellent service. Excellent thin crust pizza, SUPER fresh salad, very good lasagna & a nice selection of wines. Think you'll like it.

We had an hour to eat before chasing the Northern Lights. We were staying at the Radisson Bleu 1919 just across the road, so this was an easy option. Nice looking French style bistro, small & cosy. Basic menu with Specials available on the blackboard. We opted for pizza which were freshly made & ample. Draught lager was deliciously cold.... More

Very nice pizza and good service. One of Reykjavík oldest and most honest restaurants. I had the seafood pizza and it was good.

This was a quaint little Italian restaurant in Rekjavic that my family really enjoyed. Good service, good pizza, and good atmosphere. When I asked about accommodating my sons food allergies, they engaged in a conversation to ensure they understood what he could and could not eat to ensure he got a safe meal. I would definitely go back to this... More

Well, it is well located. Just around the corner from the worlds most famous hot dog shack this place is warm when the outside is rather cold. Wish I could say reasonably priced. Not sure anyplace in this city is "reasonably priced". Tried the Pizza which was Ok, but $30US for a pizza? Salad came with some strange dressing. So... More
