On a windy cold morning we popped in as we waited for our apartment to be ready. I had the French toast with a side of bacon, which was huge. Hubby had bacon and eggs...tasty. It was good value and delicious

This was our first dinner in Iceland and it was yummy! I loved the bread with tapenade. I had fish and chips that were very fresh, crispy, and moist! My friend had a burger with fries that looked really good. There are a ton of restaurants on Laugavegur Street, but this seemed far less touristy and had a pleasant crowd... More

We ate here three times during our recent stay in Reykjavik., customers were locals and tourists of all ages which we felt was a good sign. There was a lovely cosy atmosphere with a friendly, welcoming staff and it was very clean. There was a wide choice on the menu, everything very well presented. The fish dishes were especially good... Burger and white russian was great, staff were friendly and, given the prices in Reykjavik, it wasn't oo pricey. All in all a decent place to stop and rest after a day's exploring.

We arrived at 6:15 and were seated right away. The decor is lovely and big windows let in lots of light. We had wonderful and hearty lamb soup in huge bowls along with rolls and yummy Icelandic butter. The service was very friendly and prompt. We topped off dinner with a shared desert of 3 large scoops of ice cream... More

We ate at this Restaurant shortly after arriving in Reykjavik from the UK. After checking in to the Hotel further along the street, we looked for somewhere to have something to eat as we were both very hungry after an early flight from Gatwick It was also quite cold! It was a Sunday so several restaurants unfortunately were shut. This... More

Went for a light dinner. My husband had the lamb soup. It was a huge bowl and cost $30. He liked but wished itcwas smaller. I had the scallop appetizer - very good. We were to full for dessert. They had awesome looking desserts do will return for dessert.

The special of the day (arctic char) really showed the chef's special talents. It was spectacular. My wife liked the lamb soup, an I thought the mushroom soup was excellent. We had 2 great meals there during our stay. This time of the year the sun sets at 9pm, and it gets dark at 11pm. No one was there at... More
