The views were great! Go up to the viewing deck to take in the views from their 360 degree view of Reykjavik.

Went up for breakfast from our nearby hotel. Very good quality and choice in their cafe. There is a balcony around the building providing 360 degree views over Reykjavik and the surrounding areas. We managed to see the northern lights over the mountains to the north

After a long day exploring the Golden Circle, we ended off the day at Perlan. We wanted to see the 360 degree views from the observation deck on the fourth floor. On the same level was the cafeteria. We chose the salad bar which included a variety of soups and salads. You could go back for one refill of each... More

Firstly one has to remember taht you are in an Icelandic venue with the quirky tastes they have on offer. The menue on the night we booked had been changed to a game course event buffy...so case of well lets get stuck in and see what we have on offer. Moose, Goose, Whale ,Reindeer , Yak....Smoked eel...well we had to... More

Not masses to do here however the view from the top are fantastic on good days, you can eat and drink at the top as well. If you get bored you can easily walk around but i wouldn't recommend walking there as it isn near to anything else and would take ages.

They only offered a wild game buffet, which was slightly disappointing in comparison to the menu they offer online. No ptarmigan soup or smoked puffin - disappointing. Anyway, the location is great, with a wonderful view of Reykjavik. A pity they are closing Down.

We had a chill day and decided to get the bus somewhere out of town. The guy in the Tourist Information office was really helpful and mentioned that this place was a great location to view Reykjavik from above. So we got the bus and stopped off for a look. We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrived as it... More

Superb restaurant- go here for the view alone! Rotating restaurant. We had buffet style dinner and can not fault the food, lots of different things to taste it was great. Fairly pricey though came away £202 lighter for soup, 3 course buffet, and 3 alcoholic drinks each. Is walkable if you want to save some money but uphill.

We walked up to the Perlan in the morning before we left Reykjavik. It was a lovely sunny, clear morning. The views were spectacular! Worth the time (especially if it's clear) to take in the views from their wonderful 360 degree viewing deck.
