The food was very good, typical Icelandic pastry. The interiors was more like a restaurant. Very nice cafe. Highly recommend it.

If you're on Vestmannaeyjar and in need of coffee and something sweet: visit Vinaminni. The staff is friendly and they serve nice Snudurs and Vinabraut.

The range of cakes is excellent and we really enjoyed a cinnamon roll and a chocolate chip cookie, bursting with chocolate. However, the sandwich choices for lunch were very limited - all the sandwiches seemed to be the same, sliced meat with cheese. They kindly made up some cheese salad sandwiches for us, as we don't eat meat, but it... More

A nice place in the middle of town. Good to sit down and gather strength , because you have to be prepered to walk

We had soup, coffee, and dessert. The food was reasonably priced (for Iceland). You ordered and paid at the counter and took your food with you to your seat. The soup was OK. You could take as many slices of bread as you liked. The bread had just been baked at the bakery next door. At the self serve counter... More

This was like The Best Veggie pizza with lots of tomatoes, olives, nuts, ruccola and YUMMY. And the bakery/pastry - like heaven after a long puffin walk. And great coffee. Thanks!

Came in for tea and ended up also having soup from the communal soup urn and amazing date/caramel cake. I little chaotic and we did not have much but the foods others were getting looked amazing. Unlimited soup, bread and butter all quite satisfying.

Stumbled on this cafe looking for soup and a sandwich lunch. So glad I found it. The soup was mushroom (very good) and came with fresh baked bread. The best of all was that there was free refills of soup and coffee on my purchase. The cafe has a large selection of deserts, salads and sandwiches all made on site.... More

We had a quick lunch our last day on Heimaey. The soup and bread was self serve but delicious and you could go back for more. Afterwards we stopped in the bakery next door for a wonderful sweet treat. It is too bad we didn't find this until the last day of our trip.
