This restaurant is very cozy with nice staff and delicious food! It can get pretty busy and tables are quite close to each other; however, it somehow adds up to the nice atmosphere.

The meal was excellent. It arrive within 5 minutes of ordering, so there was little time for my partner to finish his beer before tackling his spaghetti with mussels. I had the soup, which was fantastic, and we both shared some lovely chablis from Simona...Fevre (2017). Delicious!More

Cosy house, original presentation. Found green mould on grated parmesan cheese, but got no excuses or compensation. The waitress said it "might be another cheese" but the cook confirmed it was parmesan. They did not see the problem with the mould...

We had a wonderful late meal here in Stykkisholmur. Very small village, but due to c-19 the small place must keep distance between guests. We manged to reserve and were dalled inn as expected at 20:30pm. Lovely meal of the day - mussels- and cod....Very kind staff. Good hygiene and clenaliness. A must visit when here.More

We had been there before, about 10 years ago and liked it then. Now it started well, wonderful staff, but we had a lamb, and there were 4 "bites" of lamb on the dish, few burned potatoes and a litle bit of vegetables. We hardly...got the taste of the lamb from these few bites but I think it was okay. We were still hungry and decited to try the homemade icecream, that was a larger portion, but it tasted like frozen butter/cream. I really hope they just had a replacement cook that day.More

Long wait to get into this place, but was worth it in the end. The food is excellent. Reasonable choice on menu. Cosy atmosphere in an old house. Centrally located, right by the harbor. Service was friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend if you are...looking for a nice dining experience in Stykkisholmur.More

- Waiting time: Even if they are full and you didn't book, you can sit at their patio waiting for a table (very long waiting but worthy). - Service: The waitress are always smiling and kind. - Prices: fair, from 13€ for their amazing seafood...soup to 16€ for great lamb burgers and fries to more or less 25€ for fish main courses. - Food: meat from local farms and fish from the bay, fair size, looks and tastes delicious.More
