Within the charming little village of Stykkisholmur, everything in this beautiful place reminds you the sea, both the dehor facing the harbour, with deckchairs and a bench obtained from a small boat, and the interior, warm, cosy and welcoming. The menu is rather limited because...their ambition is to offer locally-sourced, seasonal and sustainable options, but the result is very good.More

There are just a few options for food in Stykkisholmur but this definitely one you dont want to miss. I had delicious fish soup, followed by amazing cod. Husband had the most amazing looking scallops (and so many of them!) Definitely need reservations. It's a...smaller location so you want to make sure you secure a spot. Great wine selection and delicious dessert.More

Luckily we got the reservation since somebody cancelled. The food was delicious and the staffs are very friendly and made us feel warm welcome. We tried tasting menu which includes most of dishes from the a la cart menu. We like each of them.

First dinner in Iceland and it was perfect. Recommend the tasting menu - both cod dishes we had were sublime. Atmosphere and service made it an experience we will remember.

We had a really delicious dinner here and very highly recommend this restaurant. The service was great and the atmosphere is very pleasant with lots of character. We also appreciated the distancing between tables which made us feel very comfortable.

The location at the harbour in Stykkisholmur is very excellent in cosy small restaurant. The service and savety features were one of the best I have seen although not disturbing the good experience. The quality and selection of seafood were soo good and the cooking...get my highest value, excellent as well and all from fresh local material. Well done and worth the visit. The wine selection were good as well (imported). I will visit this resaurant again next year.More

There are a couple of great restaurants in Stykkisholmur, to the point it could be a gastro destination in its own right. By far the best is Sjavarpakkhusid. We enjoyed a wonderful 6 course meal in a relaxed setting. Standouts were the grayling roe &...waffles, cod and yoghurt foam and cardamom biscuits, Staff were lovely and friendly. Truly superb and definitely the best meal we had in Iceland! Definitely book ahead as there is limited space.More

Delicious. My favorite meal in Iceland. I did the prix fixe. Not only do you get to sample like half the menu, but you get enough food for almost two people. All of the dishes were excellent. Service was solid and it's got an unpretentious...vibe.More
