Food was very good and home made, but the thing I loved the most was extremely friendly and communicative server. She gave us amazing Malta history lesson. Thank you! Hope to visit you again soon!

A very basic setup, but the service and food were excellent. We sat upstairs and had the traditional Gozitan platter. The rose wine was delicious, the plates full to overflowing.

We had rabbit stew and enjoyed eating in a castle. Servers were friendly. Atmosphere is terrific there is an upstairs terrace.

Don't bother to go there. Its a tourist trap now... We used to go there before where the food was good value for money & genuine. We went there & they charged us €10 for half a tomatoe, a bit of raw chopped onion, few capers, 4 sun dried tomatoes & two halves of Gozo cheese & some bread. Please... More

I visited Ta' Rikardu many many years ago...so I had nostalgic memories of the place and the food there. On my return visit after so many years I have nixed feelings about the whole experience. The fully restored magnificent Cittadella is an amazing backdrop. The pace itself can also provides a great atmosphere. The food however was not really at... More

Lovely salad platter served on the rooftop terrace reached by a spiral stone staircase. Great views across the rooftops of Victoria. Local craft beers. Difficult to improve upon.

We have been visiting Rikardu's for over 30 years now and we have never been disappointed. Visiting with my wife and sons from London, we received a warm welcome as always making us feel at home. We were quick to order our traditional delicious platter, followed up with their perfectly cooked homemade ravioli and spaghetti bolognese. Almost forgot to mention... More

Simple tasty bread with traditional cheese, olives, tuna, capers, olive oil, tomatoes, and good cheer. The fish soup is also traditional and very delicious. CHeerful service even in rush hour.

Nice castle like interior is pretty much all that is exceptioonal about this place. The food is very mediocre, they dont have home made stuff as the advertice, but rather a cantina like quality of food. Service is somewhat chaotic. Menu has a few items, none of them typical Maltese. The food is cheap though, so you will get your... More

It's been years since I've been here but with fond memories made it back yesterday while visiting the magnificently restored Cittadella in Gozo. Rikardu now with a grown up family, hosts you as if a longtime friend. From the upper terrace of this very old Stone 'full of character must stop on your itinerary' restaurant, watch exquisite sunsets and views... More
