This must be the worst review I've ever written on TripAdvisor and I'm a senior contributor! We were initially tempted by the old-fashioned charm of the place and military memorabilia visible from the street outside. However, once seated it was clear the place hadn't seen a makeover in any respect since the late 50's or early 60s. As for the... More

We visited this restaurant for a late lunch on our recent holiday in Malta. My husband likes to try all the Maltese specialities and he particularly likes rabbit dishes. This one did not disappoint (even if dealing with all the small bones is a bit of a faff).

Heavy use of the microwave to heat up dishes from the last few days and I advise you to avoid this place. The staff are reluctant to produce a menu, but they can describe reheated meatloaf wrapped in badly cooked aubergine in so many different ways it sounds like they are offering a choice of dishes. They aren't- they simply... More

It is a very agreeable place and the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was nothing very special - my husband's veal was a bit dry though my steamed fish was nicely presented and tasted good. Vegetables were abundant but a bit over-cooked. We enjoyed the evening and the atmosphere but had more memorable meals elsewhere

Waited patiently for over an hour for my order of fish. Everyone around me had finished lunch and left. Finally asked the waiter how long it would be be said 10 minutes. 15 minutes later still no fish. Get the idea. Something wrong here. Avoid!! Food was ok, nothing special, an hour and a half wait. Fish lunch special was... More

One of our dishes was not good. Rabbit bones nearly without meat and very dry. After complaining about it the chef came out of the kitchen in rage and started how we dare to complain in a very rude and loud manor. The guest is definitely not right here.

Looking for somewhere to eat that was not so full of tourists we came upon this place by happy accident. We started outside but it started to rain so we moved inside. Staff, waiters and chef, really friendly and helpful. The chef even came over and sat with us. Great rabbit and my other companions had some lovely fish. Excellent... More
