I liked their simple straightward lunch menu with not too menu options. I had the prawn and mushroom risotto. Firstly they brought out what I think was rabbit liver risotto and immediately my waiter came and retrieved it even before I had registrted it was not the right dish. That dish wasn't even on the menu. My waiter gave me... More

First time having a lunch at this restaurant. Sat outside to enjoy the sun... Party of 3, ordered 1 stuffed squid & 2 sea bass. I had the squid. Delicious!!! My colleagues had the same opinion of the sea bass. Desserts were good too.

One of our first dinners in Valetta on a brisk night. I had a wonderful pork belly with honey dish. And although my husband enjoyed his linguine with prawns, he convinced me to share with him, because he loved the pork belly, too. The soft comfy chairs were nice after a day of walking around the city.

first time experience with dinner reservation. Food was good but not amazing as some of the other critics suggested. i had the filled quail which was well prepared. for wine we choose a local favorite which i felt was a bit overpriced for what you get with EUR 42.50. the restaurant itself did not give me a warm atmosphere even... Good and well prepared food, but uninspired. Service was very detached and somewhat uninterested. Contrary to the good lunch experience some months ago,

Tucked away in a side street in Valletta is this little Italian restaurant. We were looking for somewhere for a snack lunch but on entering we were charmed by this little restaurant and decided to stop for a "proper" lunch instead! The menu was written in chalk on a blackboard wall, it was a fairly limited menu with no vegetarian... More

Came across the Ambrosia restaurant by chance. It was fairly full but a table was found and service was good and friendly. The goat's cheese soufflé was a triumph and the accompanying, Maltese wine was delicious. I would recommend this to friends.

We stopped in for a late lunch and they made us feel welcome . The food was excellent and He decor was fun. The chef kindly wrote out one of th recipes and chatted with us for a few minutes. We highly recommend this spot just off Republic street.

My friend and I stumbled into Ambrosia last night - no booking, but we were drawn in by the delicious aroma emanating from within this charming restaurant. We both had the braised rabbit with dates - simple tradional fare superbly cooked, and paired with a lovely glass of local wine selected by our hosts. The staff were warm and interested,... More
