We’ve been here before but there’s been a change of name.. staff were mainly the same. Have to say that on this occasion we were disappointed with the food and felt it was quite expensive. Will probably give this a miss Next year

We were recommended the restaurant by our hotel and what a great recommendation it was. We sat inside due to last minute booking (space outside was lovely). The staff could not be more welcoming, and there were about 4-5 staff members who served us during...More

We stayed in Valletta for 18days so can safely say we tried a fair few restaurants specifically for seafood - this was by far the best with a really beautiful dining experience. We arrived just before they opened without a reservation and even though closed...More

Very fresh and tasty food, friendly staff for a good price. Plus cool location!! A must on Malta! We even had Fireworks at the evening! Pasta very good and you should follow the recommendations of the staff.

Well first of all Tripadvisor should change the name of this restaurant to Portocinno. Seafood is very good but service although very friendly can be a bit quicker. Nice location and nice terrace.

The food looks amazing but had to wait more than 45mins to taste it, plus other 30 minutes waiting for a table. Our situation is: Water finished, bottle of wine finished, bread finished and olives finished, I think we're not going to enjoy the food...More

We had read of this place in a write-up published in an international newspaper. It was described as a ‘glassy, classy space’ with beautifully-prepared seafood, so we were of course very excited to try it. Alas, disappointment is a bitter taste. Since the article’s appearance...More

I loved this restaurant. I took my boyfriend for his birthday treat and we both had amazing food experiences. We only had 3 courses but wow. My boyfriends muscles for starters were delicious and I was in love with my main of prawn bisque fettuccine...More

This place is now called 'Porticello'. Location is excellent with seating outside overlooking the harbour and Manoel Island. The menu and wine list are both very impressive compared to other restaurants in Valletta and is not over priced. The food is delicious and fresh (you...More

The menu at this restaurant is very impressive and I spent a long time studying the wine list too, and got a lovely bottle of Maltese white. Our starters and mains were delicious, and the service here is a step up from anywhere else we...More

Description
This historical place dating back to World War One came back to life after an extensive renovation. Situated on the waters' edge one can enjoy the views of Manuel Island and Sliema Fort while towering above are the great Valletta bastions. Our team of chefs created a brilliant Sicilian menu to complement this ambiance. One cannot miss the daily catch caught directly from our fishing vessels cooked AL SALE or ZUPPA adding some calamari and prawns for the best experience ever :)
