This small street side restaurant was within 100 yards of our hotel. Each time went to the supermarket we called in for a cold bed. The owner Stavros and his lovely wife were the most friendly of people with lots of local knowledge to share. They do fish and chips here and you would not find better in the UK... More

This was a great eating place, superb pork chops hence the nickname pork chop shop. Stavros and family ran this for many years, such a shame that the municipality would not give him a licence for food only drink, not a place to just drink in he needed food.

Mr & Mrs Stavros have a very pleasant friendly restaurant across the street from Papantonious supermarket, delicious fish and chips, omelettes, home made moussaka, tasty toasties etc etc freshly made with reasonably priced drinks. Give it a try we'll be back next year for sure.

Best fish and chips in Paphos, nowhere compares! Truly great homemade food, prepared fresh by Stavros's wife. Situated just along from the Players pub on the opposite side of the road, across from Paps. Well worth a visit, I promise you'll be back and so will we!

Have eaten here a few times, always make a point of returning whenever we're in Cyprus. Stavros makes you so welcome and never forgets a face. Food is excellent and served with a nice cold beer. He even went to the trouble of making a non alcoholic cocktail for the children. Will carry on dining here as long as Mr... More

Love the pork chops ! I know they are always big in Cyprus but Stavros is not known, unofficially, as the pork chop shop, for nothing. Stavros & his wife go out of their way to always make you feel welcome and the value is second to none. If you are looking for a fancy place, this is not for... More

Stopped here for lunch as we were passing and what a great surprise. Lovely crunchy light battered cod and home made chips. All lovely and crispy, served with a cyprus bread roll lightly toasted. Nice guy Stavros who welcomed us who told us he used to own shops along the south coast of England. Very friendly with all the punters... More

Whilst visiting the harbour area of Paphos my wife and I decided to have a wander around the streets off the harbour promenade , We went into a pub looking for a beer and some pub grub but the pub did not sell food . A local ex pat told us to try the Stavros restaurant as he said it... More

I don't usually go abroad to eat fish 'n' chips, but having had a lot of Greek food I needed a change. I wasn't expecting anything much, but to my surprise, had one of the best fish 'n' chips I've had for ages. I admitted to the owner I was dissapointed to find this high quality meal so far from...
