I love coffee and have never entertained the thought of a perfect cup of coffee before going to Cafe Bazar. The Latte that was brought to our table was just about the most perfect coffee drink I've ever had. Just incredible. The eggs and sausage were good. My wife liked the yogurt breakfast and both kids devoured their croissants. The... More

We had lunch here very recently attracted by the beautiful location on the river in Salzburg. The food was reasonably priced and was okay. The service from the young arrogant waiter was less than average for the standard of this lovely cafe.

Stopped for breakfast on our first morning in Salzburg, was great to be able to sit outside with nice views. Good service with reasonable prices. A busy little place popular for locals and both tourists, would visit again.

Lovely historic building. Chandeliers , dark wood panelling and waiter service. Step back in time and have a light bite and a drink. Fabulous river setting , ask for a table outside - fingers crossed one will be available,

This is a must visit traditional cafe on the new city side of the river. The wood panelling and leather seated booths gave a historic and beautiful feel to the location. The view of the river and watching the people passing by the front of the cafe made for an enjoyable lunch. My partner is vegetarian and as the non-meat... More

Across the river from the old town and next to hotel Sacher find this simple cafe which has been a part of Salzburg's landscape forever. Simple meals, home made desserts and fabulous apple strudel. Best of all was the coffee, expresso (double) with cream on the side, called a grosser brauner. As coffee snobs, we were shocked and made our... More

We had a very pleasant snack meal here at early lunch, and were fortunate enough to get a table. Medium wood panelling throughout, beaded plaster ceiling, mirrors, chamfered edge glass, priceless view onto the Salzach river. VERY popular with the locals. There is a small cannopied summer terrace too. Used to belong to the Tomaselli family, now a private family... More

I had the "bazar scrambled eggs with sausage" and some apple juice hopping it to be somehow special. I just got an ordinary meal which I could do better at home in 2 minutes. For 10 eur you can have much better in Salzburg. The place was quiet and fine tough.

A beautiful place, quiet and well-behaved, with gentlemen reading newspapers and ladies chatting. Courteous friendly service. Like taking a step back in history. Lovely experience.
