We were a large group of 10, and we got seated pretty quickly by the gentleman and were handed over the menu almost immediately. The menu is representative of popular modern Indian cuisine across the subcontinent. Thankfully their lamb, goat and beef offerings were halal,...which some in the group appreciated. We got the papdi chaat and chicken lollipops as appetizers. Both were served at the appropriate temperature and were flavourful as well as appetizing in appearance. The butter chicken, goat curry, daal makhani and kadhai paneer were served alongside garlic naan and steamed basmati rice. All the dishes were flavorful and delicious. Overall a happy outing :-)More

We have just returned from our first experience at “An Indian Affair;” it most certainly will not be our last… What an amazing birthday celebration we enjoyed! The food and ambience were outstanding! But it was our server Pulkit, who made our evening extra special....He went over and above to ensure we were happy and satisfied- he was attentive, friendly, professional, efficient, and even made an extra effort to place a birthday candle on my dessert cheesecake. Thank you, Pulkit! Definitely a memorable birthday dinner! There is no lack of Indian restaurants in the Vancouver suburbs, and "Indian Affair" is only one of many, but I found IA to be one of the better examples of such places in this area. We followed a recommendation from a BC resident and...on a Saturday found a restaurant filled-up with people (perhaps 200 of them) enjoying the lunch buffet, and another ten standing outside waiting. This place is well-known and popular. We got on the list and in about fifteen minutes were inside. A few of the things that I believe separated this restaurant from its peers were: the pile of chapatis, freshly cooked and tasty, and another heap of papadams (those brittle tasty things that no Indian meal is complete without--but some places make you order them). The presence of these items was a good sign. Of the entrees in the buffet I found the tandoori murgh (chicken) --in this bin, breasts, legs and thighs--to have a good grilled taste. The curried goat was spicy, but not so much as to scare off some people (personally, I prefer it spicy). The tandoori wings were a little soggy--but this was the only entree I wasn't excited about. The vegetable curries were fun and well-done. I didn't try the "butter chicken." For drinks, the servers were carrying around beakers of water, or you could also order tea or drinks from the bar--but few people did. For dessert, the gulabjamin were sweet as always, competently done. This is a cut above your usual local buffet. Highly recommended. My wife--as always grading severely--said it was just "okay." But you have to add extra marks for the fresh chapatis and papadams, the tasty tandoori murgh, and the good service of the workers. A very efficient operation. Bon appetit!More

I ordered over the phone for pick up yesterday. We asked specifically for MILD EVERYTHING. All of the food was just leftovers from the buffet because NONE of it was MILD. It was all medium spicy, at least. As my wife has stomach problems, we...had to compost more than half the order (40 dollars of food at least). They didn't even try to get the order right in the kitchen. We will not be ordering here again. Too bad the food is good; they don't even listen when you request something as simple as spice level.More

Excellent service. Excellent decor. Food was delicious and tasty. I give it 11 out of 10. They have a DJ Friday's and Saturdays which was great touch to the evening.

Been to restaurants all over the world but the surprise we got was disgusting the person who invited us was ashamed angry she had to go through this humiliation when the waitress told we had to leave as there were people waiting out side to...get in Uncivilised rude😡Will never step in to this restaurant as there so many other good tasty ones all over surrey. The complimentary tea is like water and the dishes have no good taste with ingredients added and sauces are in plenty.More

Always a great place for lunch! Their Buffet has great selections. Restaurant is clean, the staff are pleasant, tables well spaced out . First time back since COVID restrictions, and so glad. Our favourite Indian restaurant. Good experience once again! Get the Mango Lassi to...drink with your meal -- too delicious!More

Just had an amazing experience last night, made even better by EXCEPTIONAL service from 'Soviet' our server, attentive and very personable. She was the icing on the cake for what was a great evening. The food was just phenomenal too, been dining here for about...5 years now and never had a bad dish never mind meal and last night's food was the best we've had since we've been going there. We went to the Indian Affair in Langley today for lunch. It was great food and good service. We had the buffet lunch. I am only writing this review because I was really surprised to see that no staff were wearing masks, nor were most...of the customers even when they went to get food at the buffet. As this is an indoor restaurant with no patio I feel that masks should be worn except at table . There were about 2 in every 10 people masked.Given that the Covid Delta variant numbers are increasing this would be a minimal expectation. It was a busy day with all table taken and people waiting. There is a sign that says if you are not vaccinated you should wear a mask but no one asks you. There was also a large birthday party for a child happening as well. The hostess asks for your phone number which I guess is something.We wore our masks except when eating at the table and feel all others should do the same. Hope this situation improves.More

Amazing food, fantastic service and beautiful restaurant. The portion size is very generous and we had excellent hosts. Would highly recommend here
