Delicious food, and amazing service with a smile

We were a group of 8 people and 1 baby. I love Indian food - the spices, and flavors, and choices are amazing. We loved this food. Our server was a lovely woman with a huge smile. She went above and beyond in her service to us. She really seemed to enjoy her job which is so nice. The food? The 1st thing they bring you is some little cones of popadum with chutney. They looked gorgeous - I could have had plates of just those. I'm a vegetarian and also gluten free, and I loved that the menu told me exactly what was gluten free. No guessing. There were lots of choices. The veggie pakoras were delicious gems....and extremely reasonable in price. Everyone had different dishes in our party, and some shared. I ordered aloo gobi with spice, and it was really yummy. The spice mixture was perfect. I also had vegetable korma. All the food was lovely to look at - we loved the way it was presented. We often go to another Indian restaurant in South Surrey , and we truly loved this Indian food even better, and it was about 1/2 the price. There was so much food, we took some home, and I got to savor it again the next day while at work. I would give it 6 stars if I could. We will be back.

Best lunch buffet going

The lunch buffet is an excellent deal with lots of fresh salads and a very good selection of hot dishes, and the 13 is free. Buffet is 7 days a week. You really need to try it if you like Indian food, you won’t be sorry.

First time tried it on a coupon, buy one buffet get one 50% off. Wasnt too sure how it would be, thinking it would be low quality so took a risk and it was good! Lots of variety and fresh. Will visit again!

Went there last night for the first time travelled down 30 Km to have good food. Really disappointed with the staff, their knowledge of dealing with billing & coupons is poor. First they issue their own restaurant coupons and then restrict you to use it.

Always good food and service

We visit this place at least once a year on occasions like birthdays or anniversary since the past 9 years and it is always a excitement even on the thought of going there. We try to avoid lamb mostly as it’s not our sought after meat, we prefer goat, beef, chicken and fish. Their fish pakoras are amazing so are all the ones that we choose.

Amazing food and Amazing Service

Just recently had a party there for over 50 people, and the service and food was flawless. Not a single guest felt the did not get attention. Food was fresh, served hot and the taste was unbelievable. Recommend this place to all my friends and family.

The best Indian food around!

This food is really great! We ordered for a “date night” and were both surprised and pleased at how amazing it was. The chicken and the goat were both so tender and flavourful. The perfect amount of heat and seasoning. When picking up, we saw how lovely the restaurant is inside and we ate excited to go when the restrictions lift! Thanks for a great meal, we will be back often!

Perfect dinner with family

We were a large group of 10, and we got seated pretty quickly by the gentleman and were handed over the menu almost immediately. The menu is representative of popular modern Indian cuisine across the subcontinent. Thankfully their lamb, goat and beef offerings were halal, which some in the group appreciated. We got the papdi chaat and chicken lollipops as appetizers. Both were served at the appropriate temperature and were flavourful as well as appetizing in appearance. The butter chicken, goat curry, daal makhani and kadhai paneer were served alongside garlic naan and steamed basmati rice. All the dishes were flavorful and delicious. Overall a happy outing :-)

A Perfect Birthday Celebration

We have just returned from our first experience at “An Indian Affair;” it most certainly will not be our last… What an amazing birthday celebration we enjoyed! The food and ambience were outstanding! But it was our server Pulkit, who made our evening extra special. He went over and above to ensure we were happy and satisfied- he was attentive, friendly, professional, efficient, and even made an extra effort to place a birthday candle on my dessert cheesecake. Thank you, Pulkit! Definitely a memorable birthday dinner! Looking forward to our next visit and we will pass the word around to family and friends that “An Indian Affair” is a hidden gem on Willowbrook Drive.

The buffet that runs weekdays from 11:30 to 2:30 is the most scrumptious feast for the value you will *ever* find. It has been our go-to since it opened and we have never looked back. The atmosphere classy, warm and inviting. The staff are always amazing and Gary, the owner, is always there to ensure the best experience. He is truly a delight, a kind soul and radiates the joy and pride that is reflected in the gem he has created for all to enjoy! Congrats on all your success, you deserve it!

No matter if you're 2 or 10 the Service is great. Can't say enough about the menu; choices for everyone. My favourite Seafood Entree is the Affair Malai (Prawns), just exceptional..! Any of the Chicken dishes will satisfy and for Vegetarian, so many options. They also do take away! Beautiful surroundings and music on the weekends...Date night!

Amazing as Always !!!

Just had an amazing experience last night, made even better by EXCEPTIONAL service from 'Soviet' our server, attentive and very personable. She was the icing on the cake for what was a great evening. The food was just phenomenal too, been dining here for about 5 years now and never had a bad dish never mind meal and last night's food was the best we've had since we've been going there. Thanks, we can't wait come go back !!!

Changing flavors

Indian Affair has been our go to for Indian food for several years. We've enjoyed the comfortable, elegant atmosphere, the attentive, friendly service, and the excellent food. Recently the restaurant underwent a major expansion, which has changed the flavor of our experience. While the food is still very good, the place now seems more cafeteria than fine dining. We have been a couple of times in the evening when there was a shortage of staff, and service suffered as a result. This is disappointing as standards have been so high in the past. Hopefully these things are just growing pains and will be rectified over time.

Still Disappointing

I haven’t been to this restaurant in years and decided to go back and give it another try. The buffet was okay but not as good as others that I have tried in the area. The naan was paper thin and crumbled in your hands. The service was great but they need to work on the buffet.
