The restaurant is located inside the Triest Hotel. The place is small, cosy and romantic. The staff was really helpful and fast. The menu is small but has includes some great dishes. The food was excellent. The presentation was nothing fancy but the quality and style it was prepared was top notch - it made me wonder who was working... More

Try the veal schnitzel; a local must. Great service and charming staff who speak excellent English. Not cheap and it's difficult to find wine under eu30 a bottle but worth trying.

We experienced a most enjoyable dinner and evening with excellent food, cocktails, wine, coffee and service in their outdoor seating area. We would highly recommend the beef carpaccio as it was the best we have had in Vienna. We had cocktails before dinner, shared a carpaccio and two entrees with three glasses of an excellent gruener veltliner (Gruber), followed by... More

We ate here on the first night of our stay in Vienna. This was complimentary, because the hotel (Das Triest) could not accommodate us on our first night. We had a pleasant meal - nothing overly exciting, but light summery food. We enjoyed a bottle of wine from southern Steiermark, which was most enjoyable sitting in the courtyard on a... More

My 2nd visit to Collio has been even better than the 1st one - not only because I was this time in company of my sweetheart, but probably because this return allowed me to better appreciate some less visible traits of Collio. So in summary, not only is the courtyard setting exquisitely green, quiet and relaxing - but also the... More

Food was light and great. Service was excellent and the garden venue is very charming. The tables next to the grill outside are not ideal unless you're not disturbed by smoke/smell from the grill. Luckily, we chose a table that is a bit far from the grill action.

I have a stigma against many hotel restaurants. I love to dine at hotels for breakfasts and once in a while might do a lunch, but am skeptical on dinners (unless noted for this) when there are so many great restaurants specializing in just that. However, this was a delightful surprise. My in-laws were staying here and wanted to have... More

We arrived a bit too early to a not that friendly hotel staff, but once we came back to the restaurant, the staff there was very friendly and makes you feel at home with the best service. The food is top, but we would rate it just below 1 Michelin star, as the size of portions was sometimes too big... More

Good quality food, light, fish, vegetables, healthy and tasty combinations, nicely served. Very nice and comfortable atmosphere, great view on the courtyard, during summertime possible to sit and/or to drink/dine in the courtyard.
