Traditional Austrian food. Big plates and tasty food! We had the schnitzel and the gulash (not the soup, the stew). Very tasty! And very good prices. Extra bonus - the BIG basket of bread with a giant pretzel. Go here if you want an traditional...More

Stumbled upon this place on our first night in Vienna. The waiter was very friendly and helpful with advice. The food can best be described as well priced simple Austrian food, done well. Would visit again if visiting Vienna.

Came twice we enjoyed it so much - all three of us had different meals both times, all great. Viennese / Austrian classics. Good beer, wine & spirits. Smoking allowed (not normally something I like, but not too intrusive).

Kern Beisl is a family-run traditional restaurant offering Austrian specialities and delicacies. Food is very good. Cosy atmosphere and friendly service.

I'm not a fan of Wiener Schnitzel, but this one was very good, made from "milchkalb" , "milk veal" , the best of the best and not expensive. Actually we were going to the "beer factory", but a local on the street told us that...More
