In my experience getting good coffee in Vienna (and Austria in general) is quite ... challenging. So it was a lovely surprise to get a very good cup of coffee in this very sweet and cozy cafe. The interior design is fantastic, the entire cafe has a lovely atmosphere. The waiters - both that I had conversation with - were... More

Nice welcome but once a waiter came to serve us he was unfriendly. We ordered apple strudel as Lonely Planet had raved about it, but the waiter said we both had to order drinks as it was the "minimum". I couldn't help but wonder if this was just a con as we were tourists. Strudel was nice but certainly wouldn't... More

I like to spend my time best when I am abroad. From all the good options for Cafe in Veinna it is a mistake to choose this place when you visit. The place is crowded and busy. The service is unfriendly and gives the feeling that you are a burden. The coffee itself, I had espresso, is fair, nothing more.... More

We had our breakfast every days during our stay in Vienna. It is very cosy, good teas very kind staff. Also their brioche are really tasty! The decoration is really nice made of up cycling deco and furniture! The most important no tourists!!!

The food is very dull and the staff is just the worst as possible, very impolite, very rude and only interested in the tip you have for them, even after treating you in rude ways

As an historical cafeteria in Vienna, this place should really take care of the service. The waiter was not kind or helpful. The place is nice and centrally located, the bread and coffee are great. But what a shame to have a good meal without felling welcome!

I loved the ceiling in Cafe Diglas Fleischmarkt it looked cloisters we sat beside the piano sunday afternoon. We thoroughly enjoyed the amazing tasty apple struddell and chocolate cake washed down by coffee latte and tea a great idea of serving water with the cakes everything was very dainty well worth the wait. The Cafe has a pianist playing around... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
