Dear At Eight team, I would like to thank you for this amazing dinner. I came with my Grandmother for celebrating my 24th birthday, we took the 3 meals course with wine pairing and everything was delicious! I never try Austrian wines, but from now...I will try to taste more of them because they were very tasteful and interesting! To start, we had the fresh salmon and we also had the occasion to taste the pork. Then we had the scallop shell. And the cheese plate with breadfruit. And a very nice surprise at the end which was a beautiful chocolate birthday cake! We were served by Andrea and his colleague, they were so kind and helpful ! Thanks again for this amazing evening. I highly recommend to all people who plan to visit Vienna to come at this unmissible adress, which is on the Ring Strasse, next to the StaatsOper. The decoration is lovely and modern and the restaurant also has a nice terrasse. The restaurant is also belonging to the Relais & Châteaux chain and is on the Michelin Guide.More

We had dinner here before going to a performance at the State Opera house. The food was fantastic, and of a very high quality. I would definitely return to this restaurant. As another reviewer commented it was very quiet when we visited which gave the...restaurant an empty feeling, however the food was worth it.More

We visited the restaurant on a Monday night and tried the 3 course set dinner with a glass of wine each. I had a tuna entree, a beef main and dessert. The waitress tried hard. My beef however was not a great cut and pretty...ordinary. We were the only guests in the restaurant at 1830 which was odd. Not sure I missed something here but it felt a bit soulless and gloomy.More

We dined at At Eight for Christmas Day lunch and the restaurant was beautiful, the food was delicious however, the service was very poor. Despite the restaurant not being at capacity, they turned away one couple and sat another couple right next to us which...from then on we received no service, we had to chase them for the bill...we actually wanted dessert and another bottle of wine but given the lack of service we decided to give our money to another venue.More

I took my wife to Vienna for the first time and as we are foodies, I did plenty of research before booking this restaurant, hoping I had found a gem. I definitely did not! Trust me I’m not normally one for negative reviews, but I’m...really wondering why I gave them so much of my hard earned money. From the moment we arrived, with the exception of one extremely overstretched pleasant young lady doing her best to pretty much run the whole restaurant, the rest of the team seemed either uninterested or un-trained. You just simply cannot charge these prices when the service is this bad, the knowledge and attention of the staff was poor at best, the food was the only saving grace and it was ok but no more, but very overpriced for the quality and portion size. My apparent Valrhona chocolate dessert can only be described as the smallest, and I mean smallest, piece of chocolate brownie with a little ice cream and some mandarin segments,a joke to be honest. Please don’t go here if you are even the slightest bit interested in getting a fine dining meal. Suggest looking at my other recommendations for Vienna instead.More

We visited for dinner and was really happy with the meal. The food was excellent and the service was efficient. We would recommend, it’s pricy but a lovely treat.
