We stumbled upon this place quite by chance when we saw the food people were eating outside & thought it looked nice,so glad we did,the decor is more like a pub rather than a fancy restaurant but the food was tasty, the portions big & the...More

Exploring the city on foot so found this lovely traditional café by chance while strolling along the Ring-strasse. Sat outside, enjoying the sunshine with delicious coffee. The inside looks like it hasn't changed in 100 years and exudes the Imperial Austrian age. Fab chandeliers! Waiters...More

Eating here is an experience in history, picturing the people who ate here so long ago. Very charming with great food! I would definitely stop here again!

Typical Austrian cuisine homemade "Sacher-Wurstel" in Gulasche sauce, simple, tasty in an historic old imperial environment with old Austrian imperial spirit. Outstanding, nice, gentle Vienna Charme service. Good value for little money. Special Thanks to waiter Armin from Evelyn and Jorg from Rostock/Germany.

After a fabulous but tiring morning in the museum quarter, this cafe provided just what we needed: comfortable and traditional surroundings, delicious and fortifying soup, and friendly service. All the other diners seemed to be locals who were warmly greeted by the proprietor - especially...More
