With a fish market attached, I was expecting the freshest seafood and I was not disappointed. Umar Fisch has a warm, cosy friendly feel with amazing shellfish, hole fish grilled on the bone and beautiful warm octopus salad to mention a few. Prices are what you would expect for such high quality seafood, this is a real treat so don't... More

Party of 3--we ordered the platter appetizer and tried to order the seafood platter main for two as we felt that would be enough for 3 of us. Our waitress was adamant that we needed the platter for 3--90 euros vs 60 euros. We ended up with way too much food and took a doggy bag home with us but... More

At the beginning in the middle row of the Naschmarkt, near the Sezession, you'll find this restaurant which was originally, as all the other restaurants, bars and cafe's there, a market stand. Tight sitting like in a French Bistro and top quality seafood are the features of this place. Another good aspect, through the large windows you can watch the... More

Rolled up here Saturday night with no reservation. Seated in outside area (patio heaters but still on the chilly side), ordered quickly but then had to wait an age for our food. Moaned to the waiter who reseated us inside and then our food arrived. Seafood platter for two. Delicious! Beautifully cooked and excellent mix of fish. Friendly atmosphere. Would... More

We (6 of us) love seafood. So we settled for this place after touring the whole market. We had all kinds of seafood. The one that we particularly liked was the grilled seafood platter. We ordered 2 of those plus other seafood plates. Yup we ordered too much. There was no way that we could finish them all but we... More

Our friend told us this restaurant will be good for us to try if we wanted fish. Indeed it was. Service was warm and food was good. Prices were reasonable and we had a wonderful time here.

We had a so called Umar-plate there, with a sea bass and different kinds of sea food. For me and my wife this is a place we go as often as we can. The Food is great. If you like fish, sea food and wine this is the place to bee in Vienna. It is a nice dining Restaurant.
