I like that place. In summer there is a very beautiful garden, quiet and green. But also inside you can sit very comfortable and the meals are good.

Quite dark in the bar , waiters were friendly and quick to serve . Ordered the Wiener schnitzel with a beer Which was really tasty . Quite a relaxed chilled out place which was nice after a long day of travelling . Prices reasonable

This place is great. The back is cozy and non-smoking. We ordered some beers, pretzels, and delicious Old Viennese Beef Soup. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a laid back spot for dinner or drinks.

Another place recommended by our tour guide. Ate here with 6 couples. Sat outside on a warm evening. Try anything Austrian, also have a Gosse bier, a nice pilsner.

It is nice that it's a central location - and much larger than it looks. Dimly lit restaurant in front, then a large, well-lit open beer hall place in the back - plus the courtyard. But it's gotten too cold to sit outside now. However - my beef is with the staff and I won't be going back. We had... More

We wanted to have Weiner Schnitzel while we were in Wein, and we thought the prices at a lot of places were completely ridiculous. So, we wandered around some and stumbled across this place. We sat in the garden and enjoyed some beers, wine, soup, Weiner Schnitzel and the lamb knuckle. I would recommend trying any of those things, except... More

Lots of locals enjoying the beer and food is a good sign - sitting outside by the fountain in a lovely square as dusk fell was magical.

I like beer gardens and I like Pilsner Urquell, so it was natural for me to seek out this Biergarten in Vienna. Plus I've read some negative reviews on service so wanted to check that too. I arrived on a Sunday morning around 11:30am and there were only 2 other tables occupied out of maybe 30 in the Biergarten. It... More

My boyfriend and I found this pub by pure chance and in the end we came back there twice. On our first night we ordered gulasch as a starter, then I had some lamb with green beans, bacon, potatoes and onion; my boyfriend ordered a cordon bleu. My portion was so huge my boyfriend had to help me finish. Everything... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
