No, it is not a fine dinning place. It is not even a nice restaurant. The furniture and interior design is very basic and this place could easily be found in Hong Kong or somewhere in Mainland Chinas Habour Wenzhou. And so is the food. Authentic Chinese dishes from Wenzhou and Sichuan. The Dim Sum is great but also I... More

THE best dim sum in Vienna. I have had dim sum in China, New York, London and other places and this place really has very tasty dim sum for very affordable prices. Not a cosy place, although in the summer you can sit outside and that is nice. Service is quick and competent. Definitely better dim sum than many of... More

Great food- really delicious and wonderful variety. Service is capable and prompt. Ambience is a weak point. Fills up quickly and they are quite rigid on closing the kitchen and sending you on your way. Very reasonable prices. Very good value. I go here at least twice a month- am a big fan.

In an area with so many Asian restaurants, Dim Sum Profi really stands out as not only having exceptional dim sum but also delicious Chinese food in general. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is kind and well versed in English. This place is quickly becoming a "regular."

This from the outside rather unspectacular, small and simple kind of a Chinese restaurant literally took me by suprice by its prestine and delicious dim sum. I would not have noticed it before , it's from those chinese you would usually pass by, however, I should admit it's now on my top list for tasty dining options around. Since the... More

We happened upon this place by accident on our arrival to Vienna and we are really pleased we did. Authentic Chinese food with a mix selection of both dim sum, Sichuan and more western dishes. Don't expect a Michelin star restaurant but the food is tasty and excellent value. We ordered a mixture of dishes including dim sum, noddles and... More

Aming was a rather informal place, not a very posh "proper dining" place, in fact, the front of the restaurant even had lots of stacks of takeaway boxes there. Pardon me for saying that it's a bit tacky, it's a relaxed easy-going place. My favourite dish was the beancurd (tofu) with egg of a thousand years (or black egg). I... More

Had a dish I usually ordered elsewhere. But the way it is cooked here is just deep fried and very oily.

The restaurant didn't seem very clean. People standing around by the entrance and smoking, stained furniture and flooring, the outside sitting area full of dust. Service tired and perfunctory at midday on Saturday. We had dim sums and some entree dishes. Nothing was wrong with them, but far from fresh or tasty.. All kind of stale, barely put together to... Staying in Margareten

Neighbourhood Profile
This former working class district blends hip eateries and avant-garde cinema with a time travel into 1950s Vienna. Feel the district’s pulse at Margaretenhof and Schlossquadrat. 19th-century Margaretenhof is a local icon, yet has very non-Viennese architecture with its brick structure and cast-iron verandas. The nearby urban Renaissance castle of Schlossquadrat houses several restaurants. In the summer you can sit in its romantic shady courtyard over Schnitzel and Kracherl (traditional fizzy syrup). Siebenbrunnenplatz and its surrounding shops and grocery stores have remained virtually unchanged in the past 60 years: taking a walk there is like stepping into a 1950s film set. Speaking of movies, head to avant-garde cinema Filmcasino in the evening. It often stages foreign language cult films.
