Had a pleasant lunch here. Sat outside in the sunshine. This is in a quiet streets minutes away from the city centre but a fraction of the price of the restaurants that line the Main Street. A glass of house white wine was 3 Euros. The meal was about 30 Euros for two people plus drinks. The food was not... More

We wanted authentic Austrian food, schnitzel in particular. This restaurant did not let us down! Delicious food, excellent Austrian wine, beautiful ambiance and wonderful service!

Decided to eat here based on the current TripAdvisor rating and I was not disappointed. The traditional dishes are fantastic and each member of the party were sufficiently satisfied in terms of amount and quality. I was in Vienna with work colleagues but will definitely return when in the city again.

We arrived in Vienna late and as this place was near to our hotel we had a look. There is a pizza/pasta restaurant, next door to a steak house, opposite a traditional Austrian restaurant all with the same name. We opted for the Austrian although they all looked nice. Wiener schnitzel and the sirloin were very good and the service... More

Friendly and helpful waiters, delicious food in a lovely ambient. Had some super yummy and very classic Viennese food (Kalbsschnitzel, baked calf's liver and a children's Schnitzel). All the food was very fresh, very tasty and arrived quite speedily. The atmosphere was relaxed and we were not hassled to leave quickly which I love. Coffee was good, too and our... More

Decided we wanted a relaxed-atmosphere dinner with 3 business associates so, on the recommendation of the concierge, asked that they make dinner reservations. The staff was friendly and we were immediately seated. As we were waiting for our 4th member, we ordered hors d'oeuvre (calamari, pizza bread and steak tartar) all of which were very good. After eating the pizza... More

It is a nice place for special occasions. Staff are friendly and helpful and there is a nice variety of the dishes, not too many no too little either. The only annoying thing is that tables are really close to each other, you can hear the people at the next table, which makes it a little less private.

We had a business meeting in Wien and had our dinner in this place. Nothing special, Wienet schnitzel (pork) was a bit dry, the starter... beef something but covered with vegetable oil. Apfelstrudel was the best part of the meal.

Neighbourhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the centre. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
