Bike tour operator recommended this place. Started off with fresh bread and spread, smoked trout appetizer and Schnitzel with worries and potato salad. Can easily split.

We’ve walked past this restaurant and its sister properties across the street many times. Finally, after seeing the many spectacular traditional dishes being enjoyed, we couldn’t resist any longer. Of the five schnitzels ordered on this trip, this was the best. Thin, crispy, bubbly, tasty...More

Very nice place with excellent Zweigelt, meat and asparagus. We had Zwiebelrostbraten and asparagus from seasonal menu, both were delicious, especially when accompanied by aromatic and rich house wine. Desserts also looked very tempting but we were so full, decided to come another time. Highly...More

The food was good but the staff was unfriendly. As guests with kids we have not felt welcomed. When we left no one bothered to answer when we said goodbye.

Overall very good experience: attentive waiters, excellent food and very pleasant atmosphere. The Viennese dishes are very well prepared and the prices are reasonable value considering the central location and the overall appeal of the restaurant. Also offers outside seating. Reservations definitely recommended.

Can’t say much more than it was the best chicken shnitzel I’ve ever had. The portion was awesome and the cold potato salad complimented it perfectly, as did the Cranberry sauce. The artichoke soup was a perfect starter and the service was great too. We...More
