After a few meaty dinners of Austrian food, I really felt the need to have something Mediterranean. This restaurant is situated near Volkstheater. It is a basic eatery ("osteria"), so do not expect any sofistication. The prices are low (compared to the average of Vienna)....More

The small restaurant is a little hidden from the main street "Burggasse" and quite simple from its interior. But without doubt put together with lots of love! The food however leaves no room for the adjective "simple". Cooking Italian standards like "Tagliatelle al Ragù" to...More

This was our favorite place during the five days we were in Vienna, and we also dined at a Michelin for lunch. The food was outstanding!! The host went out of his way to ensure we were comfortable and enjoyed our meal. It's a great...More

I came here because of its trip advisor ranking. It is ok, the pomodoro soup was very good as well as the bruschetta napoletana. The pesto ravioli was below expectations and the pizza buffalo was ok... Average place..

My best friend and I agreed that our dinner tonight at Pizzeria Osteria da Giovanni is among the best we've ever had anywhere. We visited Sicily last year, and had some excellent food there that serves as our benchmark for Southern Italian cuisine. Our meal...More

Very young crowd at this super cool Osteria. The decor is trendy and staff really friendly. Pizza is a bit oversized but we managed!

The food is good but the service needs improvement. We waited half an hour for the soups and then another 10 minutes for the salad and pizza. There was only one waitress for all the tables but I blame the kitchen staff for not preparing...More

I picked this restaurant based on the reviews and it didn't live up to my expectations . The food was ok but the whole place could do with a freshen up - it was decidedly "rustic " . Also it lacked atmosphere and whilst the...More

The restaurant and food was all that we hoped it would be: delicious, kid and family-friendly, very inexpensive. I so over indulged!! We had the most delicious salads and followed up with individual pizzas and then melt-in-your-mouth profiteroles. And the restaurant is so relaxed and...More

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries,
arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde
shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with
cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make
for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and
art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at
Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a
perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.
