Nice italian ambiance after entering the restaurant feeling like being in Italy. The owner is a real italian guy very friendly and helpful. There is only one negativ thing the venue is not non smoking. But the food we ordered was fantastic and absolutely fresh. They respected fully my partners lactose intolerance. We had minestrone and tomato soup. As main... More

We started with the Beef Carpaccio which was huge and very tasty. Plenty for us 3. Then, 2 of us got pizza and another the lasagna. After tasting the lasagna, I definitely regretted my pizza choice (pizza was still good though!). The lasagna was the best I'd ever had! The wine selection was small but very good and well priced.... This is good, actually very good. Excellent grilled scampi and seafood, as a starter we had one of the best and most generous carpaccios ever served! Go to Michele!

It is almost in a Vienna center nice restaurant. Delicious pasta varieties and green salads. outdoor place is better than inside. The smell of fried fish inside is disturbing. Service is good. Michele, the owner is approaching to everyone, trying to satisfy.

Restaurant was near our hotel, an easy walk. The menu is rather limited, but the place looked nice. Luckily there were only two other couples, and only one was a smoker. I ordered a vegetarian pizza. The pizza was soggy and only the veggies on top were warm. The center was so soggy it literally fell apart. It seemed like... More

Every time I am in Vienna I come to this place. It is very small, only about 10 tables, and it is a smoking restaurant, but it is great. Pizza is delicious, wine is great, prices are awesome. It is especially nice during warm months when you can sit outside. Michael, the owner, is always there, is very personable, and... More

We found Da Michele using tripadvisor. We are from Italy, and ordinarily we do not patronize Italian restaurants when traveling abroad. But we had been on the road for a few days and felt like some pizza. Since most of the reviews were pretty good, we decided to give it a try. The place is cozy, quiet and very pleasant.... More

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins.
